His Eagle Eyes on Me

Chapter 3031

"Alright, then."

Hayden did not mention this to Shelly, but Shelly had overheard his conversation with Mrs. Taylor.

"Where will this event take place?" Shelly walked over with Audrey in her arms. "Won't it be weird for me to participate in your company's event?" Before Hayden could respond, Mrs. Taylor said, "What's weird about it? It's probably a trip. Since Hayden wants you there, you should go!"

Shelly blushed and wondered why her mother's attitude seemed to have taken a sharp turn.

Before this appendicitis surgery, Hayden's mother often reminded her that Hayden was out of her league and not to fantasize about being with him; however, her mother seemed to have taken a completely different stance after the surgery.

"Mom, I'm worried about what his employees might say." Shelly expressed her concerns. "I don't mind, but I'm worried about what his subordinates might say about him."

"Since Hayden has taken the initiative to invite you along, it means he has already considered everything. Don't be coy and just agree to it."

Shelly hesitated for a moment, then turned to Hayden and said, "I'll go if you want me to."

Hayden enjoyed how effortless it was to maintain a relationship with Shelly. "I'll send you the details later." Hayden took Audrey from Shelly's arms. "Let's go eat first!" "Okay."Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.

After dinner, Mrs. Taylor told them to rest.

She had been resting in the hospital these past few days, so now, she just wanted to spend time with Audrey.

"Hayden, how about you take the master bedroom, and I'll sleep in the guest room?" Shelly felt that she had no right to sleep in the master bedroom.

"It's fine. I'm going home to see our son tonight," Hayden replied.

"Alright. I miss Aiden too. I'll see him tomorrow." Shelly also missed their son.

After thinking for a moment, Hayden said, "After this team-building event, if nothing unexpected happens between us, let's tell my parents about Audrey. I don't want to keep it a secret anymore."

Shelly nodded. "Okay, I'll follow your lead."

The more Shelly got to know Hayden's family, the more she trusted them, and her previous reservations about them now seemed somewhat foolish.

"Go get some rest!" Hayden noticed the dark circles under Shelly's eyes.

"Okay, I'll go to sleep now." Shelly smiled at him and then went back to her room.

Shelly was exhausted, but as soon as she closed the door, the thought of Hayden wanting to take her to the team-building event popped into her mind.

Determined not to embarrass

Hayden, she immediately walked to

her wardrobe and began pawing through her clothes, trying to find something nice for the event.

However, all the clothes in the wardrobe were casual wear because she usually either went to work or stayed at home taking care of the children. Therefore, she did not have many stylish clothes.

She put the clothes back in the wardrobe one by one, then found her phone and messaged Courtney.
