His Eagle Eyes on Me

Chapter 3009

Avery and Elliot could not snatch Audrey from Shelly's arms by force and would be tormented to know that they had a granddaughter but could not see her all the time. "Do we have to tell them?" Shelly felt the same as Hayden. "If we tell them, do you think they would be glad or troubled? Let's keep this a secret for now."

"They will find out soon enough," Hayden said.

"Just calm down and see what happens in a few days." Shelly felt confused as well. "I don't have any answers for you right now. I'm still in shock."

"Go ahead and slice up some fruits, then," Hayden said, feeling the same as he did when he suddenly learned that he had a son.

With the addition of a daughter, his burdens as a father increased.

He walked over to the couch and took a seat before lifting Audrey up so that she was standing on his lap.

"Audrey, I'm your daddy. Remember what daddy looks like, okay?"

It was Hayden's first time meeting his daughter, and from the moment he laid eyes on her, he fell deeply in love with her.

It was a completely different experience from when he first met Aiden. He had felt nothing for Aiden at first, but as time went on, he had grown to love his son.

Although Audrey and Hayden were fraternal twins, he felt that Audrey was slightly more beautiful; perhaps it was because she was a girl, and she had a more delicate and adorable appearance.

"Daddy will take you to buy new clothes, alright?" Hayden noticed some stains on Audrey's clothes and wanted to buy her new ones.

Shelly immediately chimed in, "Shel

already has plenty of clothes, so there's no need to buy more. Summer is coming soon, and if you buy spring clothes now, they might not fit her in the second half of the year."

"Then I'll take her to buy toys." Hayden eagerly wanted to take his daughter out for a shopping spree.

He thought of his son, and how Aiden had everything: a grand mansion, many toys, new clothes, and many people doting on him. His daughter in contrast was living in a humble, cramped apartment and lacked everything when compared téchis son, and his heart ached for her.

Mrs. Taylor could not help but step forward. "Shelly, why don't you go shopping with Hayden and Audrey? I can handle the packing."

Upon hearing Mrs. Taylor's words, Hayden immediately stood up, holding Audrey in his arms.

Shelly saw his eagerness and went to fetch Audrey's small bag for going out.

Once they had everything ready, Shelly followed Hayden out.

Coincidentally, they ran into the same old man in the elevator as before.

Different emotions crossed the old man's face upon seeing Hayden holding Audrey. "Shelly, is this Audrey's daddy?" The old man could not resist his curiosity and asked.

Shelly did not know how to respond and Hayden openly said, "Yes, I am."

floor, the three of them stepped out, and Shelly immediately said to Hayden, You're quite daring to admit it. Aren't you afraid the old man will go and tell everyone? I can't even imagine it. Soon, all the elderly in this community will know about this."

"We're moving, right? You won't come back to this community again," Hayden calmly replied. "Don't let my daughter suffer anymore. If you can't take good care of her, I can take her away at any time."
