“No, I don’t want to break up!” Noreen was in tears. The man who had just been so gentle turned cold–
hearted in a blink and brought up
breaking up. She couldn’t accept this change and begged, “Charlie, I love you, I really do. Give me ano

Charlie sneered, “Do you love me or my money?”
Noreen replied instantly. “Of course, I love you!”

top using my name to do things outside, or else you know the consequences.”
As he finished, he turned and walked away
Noreen rushed towards him, but stumbled and fell. She watched as Charlie left without looking back, a
nd burst into tears, “Charlie, forgive me, I really know I was wrong!”
When Emily returned, she ran into Charlie and was surprised to see him leaving. She asked, “Are you l
eaving?”
Charlie smiled faintly. “Do you need anything?”
“Isn’t Noreen your girlfriend?” Emily handed him the water bottle, “You take care of her, I have things to
do this afternoon.”
Charlie politely explained, “Apologies, but she’s not anymore.”
After that, he continued walking away.
Emily was puzzled by his words, and Charlie had already left before she was able to retrieve the bottle.
She looked with confusion at Charlie’s retreating figure and turned to enter the ward
