Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan)

Chapter 311

Chapter 311

Estelle calmly looked at him and slowly said, “I know what you’re thinking! You think we should’ve died

with Tyravosaurus and the others that day! Since we didn’t, it became a burden on your conscience, so

you let yourself live miserably, as if by doing so, you can somehow make it right with them!”

Xavier’s eyes became red, his face grew dark, and he clenched his teeth. “Weren’t we supposed to?

The seven of us made a promise to live and die together. But five of them died. Why should we still be

so happily alive?”

“You hate seeing me live comfortably, don’t you?” Estelle’s voice was rough. “I’m the one who should

have died, not Tyrannosaurus and the others!”

Xavier turned his head away. “I didn’t think that way!”

“Yes, you did!” Estelle angrily threw a fruit knife from the table onto his blanket. “Kill me, avenge them,

and then die with me! That way, we can be reunited with them down there!”

Xavier turned back to look at her, his expression darkened.

Provocatively, Estelle shouted, “Go on, kill me! After you kill me, you’ll get what you want!”

Xavier clenched his teeth, “I said, I didn’t think that way!”

“Then, how did you think?” Estelle suddenly frowned, “You’re such an idiot!”

Xavier’s eyes widened, “What did you say?”

“I said you’re an idiot!” Estelle stared at him coldly and disdainfully, “Did they want to die? If they had

the chance to live, would they have chosen death? But you survived, yet you don’t cherish the chance

they gave us with their lives!”

Xavier glared at her with fury. Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g

“What?!” Estelle abruptly stood up, grabbed the cup of water beside her, and splashed it in his face.

She spoke coldly, “If they knew how foolish you are, they would be ashamed to call you their brother,

even in the afterlife!”

“What’s happening?” The nurse, who had come to check on him, stood at the door, trembling at the

sight of Estelle splashing water on Xavier.

Estelle composed herself, stood up, and left.

Xavier’s face was covered in droplets of water. He lay there, expressionless.

The nurse came over, checked the medicine in the bottle, and carefully said, “Your girlfriend is pretty

nice, don’t make her angry.”

Xavier looked puzzled and said faintly, “She’s not my girlfriend, she’s my sister!”

“Oh!” The young nurse suddenly understood, then showed a shy smile, “So, do you have a girlfriend?”

Xavier turned to look at her, his eyes cold and fierce, and showed a wicked expression, “What do you

think?”

The nurse was frightened by his ferocity and quickly shook her head, then left.

When Estelle came back, her face appeared damp, as if she had washed it. She settled back into her

chair and resumed playing games without acknowledging the earlier incident.

Xavier lay on the bed, his gaze fixed on the ceiling, his thoughts a mystery. After a while, he glanced at

her and spoke in a detached tone, “I’m thirsty.”

Estelle stood up and brought him a glass of water.

Xavier closed his eyes and said, “I don’t hate you anymore; you were right. We should live well since

we survived! You can go now. I’ll have Zachary and the others take care of me!”

Estelle handed him the water, “I’ll take care of you for the first few days of the many tests. You can call

them after three days!”

Xavier raised his eyebrows and directed his gaze at her. “Aren’t you worried that Jonathan will discover

our secret?”

Estelle’s face paled. “He won’t find out!”

Xavier sneered. “Are you still afraid of him? What exactly is your relationship with him? Is he planning

to marry you? Does Gab know that you’re involved with Jonathan?”

Estelle frowned and playfully poked his face with a straw. “So many questions. Do you just want to

drink water?”

Xavier’s face suddenly grew pale as he shot her an intense stare. Eventually, he opened his mouth and

took a sip of water.
