Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan)

Chapter 228

Chapter 228

When he arrived at The Royal Mansion, it was already 10pm. Jonathan went up and headed straight to Charlie’s place.

It was Emily who opened the door, and she was startled to see Jonathan.

Charlie had an expression that seemed like he expected it, “So your guest left?”

“Where’s Estelle?” Jonathan asked as he walked into the room.

Estelle came over from the balcony, surprised, “Why are you back?”

She thought that he wouldn’t return tonight based on his previous words.

“Well, I sent the guest home, and I happened to pass by here,” Jonathan said as he took

Estelle’s hand. “It’s late, let’s not disturb the patient, let’s go home!”

Charlie had a playful smile, “What kind of guest made you drive them home personally?”

Jonathan remained calm, lightly smiling, “Just someone who talks too much and has brain damage, no

harm in sending ‘em home!” Charlie snorted coldly, “That guest must be pretty special.”

Jonathan replied, “Well, stop talking nonsense!”

Charlie choked.

He knew he had lost this round with Jonathan.

Turning to Estelle, with a smile on his handsome face, he said, “Estelle, don’t listen to him. Stay here to

night and sleep with Emily –Content held by NôvelDrama.Org.

you won’t be bothering anyone. Besides, Emily always says she’s afraid of the dark when she sleeps a

lone.”

Emily, worried about disturbing Jonathan and Estelle’s time together, quickly shook her head and wave

d her hands, saying seriously, “No, I’ll be fine. Estelle, just go home with Mr. Lamont.”

Charlie choked again.

Jonathan couldn’t help but want to laugh, gripping Estelle’s hand, “Let’s go!”

Estelle stifled a laugh and said goodbye to the two, “Emily, Charlie, good night!”

Jonathan suddenly turned back, “what did you call him?”

Finally, Charlie snatched a victory, smiling smugly, “Estelle and I agreed that from now on, I’ll call her m

y little sister, and she’ll call me Charlie!”

Estelle responded calmly, “I was just following Emily’s lead.”

Emily quickly chimed in, “Yes, that’s true.”

Charlie

looked speechless at Emily, wondering how this girl had managed to grow up safely being so silly.

Jonathan’s face softened a bit, he smiled and left with Estelle.

Charlie closed the door, put his hands in his pockets, and called Emily over like a big brother, “Come he

re and stand properly!”

Emily looked clueless, “What’s the matter?”

Charlie asked, “Whose side are you on?”

Emily frowned, “What do you mean?”

“Who are you closer to, me or Estelle?” Charlie asked.

Without any hesitation, Emily said, “Of course I’m closer to Estelle!”

Charlie, looking hurt, rubbed his forehead, then

put his hand on Emily’s shoulder, saying solemnly, “Listen, when a guy asks you that, even if you feel c

loser to Estelle, you should say you’re closer to me, got it?”

Emily looked confused, “But wouldn’t that be lying to you?”

Charlie shook his head and

laughed, “You really are a silly girl! You’re so righteous that you’re completely single because of it!”

“What do you mean?” Emily looked at him, not understanding.

Charlie patiently explained, “Women like to

hear nice words, and so do men! When you meet a man you like, you can’t be too blunt. You have

to go along with him, make him feel like you need and admire him, and then your chance will come!”

Emily seemed to understand, but then her eyes widened, “But I don’t like you!”

So, what she said about being closer to Estelle wasn’t wrong after all!
