Falling For My Mysterious Wife By Cassidy Alfaro Free Chapter 33
Chapter 33
“Dr. Gainsford!” Jalen gnashed his teeth in hatred.
But Elaina did not care. She really wanted to see Jalen suffer, but…
As a doctor, it was impossible for her to treat a patient like that.
Yes, a patient.
In her eyes, Jalen was a patient at the moment.
No one would be so afraid of the dark that he would faint unless he had a serious
psychological illness or had experienced something horrible.
“I was just kidding.” Elaina put the phone back and said righteously, “Although I hate
you, I won’t take advantage of others.”
Jalen held the phone in his hand and looked at her. “You admit that you hate me.”
“Yeah, why can’t I admit it?” In the dark elevator, there was no one else around. Elaina
didn’t refuse to chat with Jalen. Copyright by Nôv/elDrama.Org.
“Why? I don’t remember that I have offended you,” Jalen asked.
“You have offended me many times.” Elaina glanced at him, thinking that if he knew
that his ex-wife was with him now, he would not have this reaction.
Jalen frowned and stared at Elaina. “For example?”
“For example, about the Gansburg family.”
Elaina was a little angry and said to him, “You clearly have already decided to stop
working with the Gansburg family. Why do you have to make it look like you were
offended by Jenica?”
Jalen did not refute but said, “You’re quite well-informed. Did Theodore tell you?”
Elaina snorted and ignored him.
“You’re right. I indeed prepared to stop working with the Gansburg family.” Jalen did not deny it.
Elaina sneered and said sarcastically, “Mr. Halton, you are really willing to do anything
for Ms. Dunston.”

“You know a lot about me, don’t you?” Jalen looked at her and his eyes moved.
“I am very curious. You are an internationally renowned doctor and you are the last student of Mr. Dorthea. Can you handle the busy schedule?” he asked.
Any achievement required a lot of time and energy. It was already amazing for ordinary
people to be proficient in one thing for a lifetime.
But Elaina seemed to be different.
She was a little surprised that he would ask this, but she did not intend to answer. She
was better than this.
But what did it have to do with Jalen?
She looked at him and asked, “When will your assistant arrive?”
As soon as she finished speaking, the lights of the elevator suddenly lit up. Graham’s voice came from outside the door, “Mr. Halton, please wait a moment. The elevator will be ready soon.”
Elaina stood up,
and so did Jalen. Both of them returned to normal.
Soon, the elevator door opened and Elaina walked out. She had only taken two steps when she returned to the elevator and picked up the bag she had placed on the ground.
‘Are you going to eat this for dinner?” Jalen followed behind her and asked with a frown.
Elaina nodded casually and was in a hurry to go home. She was exhausted.
While they were talking, the two arrived at their respective rooms.
When Elaina opened the door with the key and Jalen saw that she was about to disappear, Jalen could not help but say, “Tonight… Thank you.”
Elaina’s hand froze as she opened the door. She looked over in disbelief. “What did you say?”
Jalen’s expression changed. Elaina quickly said, “I just can’t believe it. I didn’t expect Mr. Halton to say thank you.”
This was really unexpected.
“Since you are so polite, I also have a suggestion for you, Mr. Halton.” She thought for a
moment and decided to do a good thing.
