CHAPTER 11- NO QUESTION MARK BUT A FULL STOP
CHAPTER 11- NO QUESTION MARK BUT A FULL STOP
The door was slammed behind him with a loud thud which sent shivers down Bee's spines. She
flopped on her bed recalling what all he said just before getting out of the room.
"Forget about leaving?" What was he referring to? Did he mean that there was no way she was leaving
this place? Bee's eyes flared open with confusion and agony- oh, please tell me he was kidding!
Spending the rest of my life with these inhumane people who had no idea how to be nice or grateful?
Hell no, there was no way she was living here for another minute.
But... How was she gonna escape back home? She neither had the knowledge of route nor money to
afford a fare. And moreover armed men were everywhere, she dared not to think what all can happen
to her if she tried to leave, it could be fatal as she had already experienced the treatment served by
these people. Little Bee couldn't start to think about how she was gonna lead the life of a prisoner in
this troublesome place.
While she was lost in her own fantasies staring at the ceiling two soft knocks hindered her chain of
thoughts. She hurriedly sat up straight and watched the door being pushed open by two young women
in maids uniform, holding a tray each.
"Miss Bee!" Both of them greeted her with utmost sincerity. Bee, on the other hand, chose to stay silent
as she was too afraid to speak out a word. The maids didn't seem to mind it as they continued to
address her, "Miss, your food is here." Saying this both of them kept their respective trays in the bed
and opened the lids for her. The warm gust of aroma hit her senses as she looked down at the
scrumptious meal in front of her.
Served to her today was roasted meat spaghetti with crispy waffles, butter omelette, french fries, two
pieces of chocolate pastry and a really large scoop of strawberry ice cream. Bee licked the corner of
her lips and looked at the maids innocently, "Is this food for me?"
The women nodded, one of them explaining, "Young Master appointed a chef especially for you; we
were not aware about your food preferences and this made a little something for today. I hope Miss
Bee can forgive us if the food is not close to your preference."
Bee was too hungry and stupid to think too much about it, she directly set herself and started wolfing
down the food. Maybe it was because so much hungry but she found the food really tasty; Little Bee
had to admit that she had never eaten anything this delicious her entire life.
It didn't take long for her to lick off every single plate; Bee looked at the two women and smiled, "The
food was really delicious..." Both of the parties thanked each other before they retreated with the empty
plates.
Bee flopped back on her bed and started wondering about the meal she just had. The maids mentioned
that a chef was specifically appointed for her to take care of her meal. Her heart skipped a beat; it
seemed like Prince Charming was not kidding when he said she was gonna live with him forever and
had been thinking about it for a long time to make such preparations for her. She had to admit that she
was really moved by what he did; back in Seductress no one gave her this special treatment, not even
half of the efforts he put into her. This made her think about what else he had prepared for her.
Just as she was lost in her fantasies two knocks were heard before the door flung open and peeped in
a familiar face. It was the women from the basement but unlike that time she didn't mask a poker face
but an apologetic yet awkward smile was plastered on her face as she asked, "Hey, how are you
doing?"
Bee's impression of her was that of fear and fright and thus seeing her she shrunk a bit to herself.
Seeing her acting timid the woman got her spirits lowered, closing the door behind her she walked up
to Bee and sat next to her. She scanned the skinny girl nuzzled like a kitten on the bed, her wounds
were yet to recover which made her heart heavy.
In a really guilty tone she spoke, "I didn't mean to cause harm to you, I was just following the orders
that was to make you spill the truth! Please don't hold any grudge against me, it was purely coz to
profession and I sincerely apologies to you for my reckless actions in the basement."
Bee blinked twice before radiating a beautiful smile, "It's okay, sister. Mistakes happen, you were
carrying out your orders. See, I am doing alright! There is no way I am gonna blame you for this
mishap."
"Huh?" Rose was the name of the woman who was currently staring down at the girl with bewilderment
painted a over her face. She let her go this easily? She and her partner Coal were out on a mission
which was the uproot the roots of Gomez clan from the cities of America. She just returned back to the
base to be informed that the Boss had killed two of their men because they were harassing the new
prisoner, that was Bee.
This news sent chills down her spines, Ryan was someone who hardly ever reacted to any human out
there. No one was particularly capable of triggering his emotions, Bee was one of the very few. She
was also informed that the forbidden room was also opened and cleaned for the young woman to
reside. Rose couldn't hold herself back from coming upstairs to apologies to her; this woman seemed
extremely important to their Boss and if he gets to know that she too had treated her poorly it could be
fatal for her.
On her way to the room she had been telling herself to be extremely patient to her as she was an
important figure and may refuse to forgive her but this girl let her go and was even justifying her
actions. This... She was really pure and innocent! Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.
Rose's eyes dimmed as she looked at her gently, no wonder the Boss treated 5his girl differently. She
smiled and thanked her for understanding her situations. The women were chit chatting a bit about
random topics when the door flew open and Jack came in with a poker face.
"Are you comfortable in here?" He asked to the perplexed Bee, many people have been dropping by to
check on her. She nodded lightly to his question. The man grunted before saying, "Boss has bought
something for you.." looking at the door he raised his voice, "Bring them in!"
Bee stared at the door to find men carrying large boxes into her room and taking them to the wardrobe
room. Bee's eyes flared open, she lost her counting about how many boxes were taken in. After the
last man with goods went inside the room Bee peeped through the opened door to see the sight of her
life. The previously empty room was now getting filled with luxurious clothing and accessories.
It took a while for the skilled men to arrange everything and once it was done Bee was asked to take a
look, both Rose and Jack accompanied her. She, like some little girl, bounced here and there checking
out every single thing kept inside it. She could tell them everything in this room was expensive, even
the pajamas were of silk.
Bee's eyes shone, she couldn't hide her excitement as she squealed, "All these for me?' Jack
remembered Ryan's words, he flung the credit card at the table and asked him to buy everything that
matched her size and he did it.
Jack nodded, Bee covered her mouth to down her scream. She jumped around a few times in the room
like a kid before asking, "Is it possible for me to meet your Boss?"
The two agents looked at each other before the man nodded a yes. "Let me take you to him."
With this the three of them walked out of the room to another room in that wing, Bee looked around to
realize that the rest of the house was decorated in a dull manner and had an air of eeriness to it. They
finally paced down before a room which was guarded by two men with guns. They didn't stop as Jack
pushed open the door and took them in.
Ryan, who was seated on a chair with a pile of documents on his table was not working but looking
outside the window seemingly lost. Without even turning his head he asked, "Did she like the clothes?"
Jack's answer caught his attention and made him turn at them, "Ask it yourself." The man swiftly turned
to meet his eyes with the small figure looking nervously at him. "Y... Young master..."
"Ryan is fine!" The mat cut through her and corrected her. The girl was a bit nervous facing him, his
eyes were too heavy and piercing for her. She somehow collected her spirits and replied, "Thank you
for the clothes and foods. I really liked them..."
The man's response was a mere 'mmm', she then finally said what she was here for, "My answer is
yes."
The man raised an eyebrow not understand what she was saying. Little Bee saw through his
expressions and explained, "I am willing to stay with you forever if you treat me good."
Little Bee was not staying here for food or clothing, she could get it anywhere. The reason she was
willing to stay was Ryan himself. The man spoke, "You are staying with me had a full stop at its end, no
question mark!"
Bee's heart skipped a few beats, gosh... This man was freaking dominant. She stammered and
blushed, trying her best to stay calm. She asked him, "Don't you wanna know why I want to stay with
you?"
Ryan was not a least bit interested, all that mattered to him was that she was staying with him yet he
nodded a yes to her question to keep her heart. Jack and Rose looked at each other, this man is a
whole different person when facing her. But what made them more surprised was Bee's counter
question.
"What if I tell you I have seen you in my dreams for the past few years continuously?"
