Claire: The Forced Virgin Of The Billionaire

Drake’s Story Chapter 35

But right now I was feeling a little gross because some of what we’d done made me think about her being abused. I never wanted her to know that I felt this. I didn’t want her to remember any of the abuse, didn’t want her to associate anything she and I did together with anything she’d done with anyone else.

When I got off on slapping her it flashed that someone else doing the same would mean her coming hard, not fighting it. Then I’d feel like I was sick in the head for getting off on it.

I wanted to give her what she needed but I also wanted her whole. I wanted her to be mine. But I didn’t want her to stay in that place where she got off on pain. If I did what the sick f***s who hurt her did to her and she got off on it, what did that make me?

How was taking their advice on how to get her off from a founding partner of the place that also f****d her, who probably helped or gave orders to f*****g break her gonna help either of us?

I wish I’d never read that report and that Chen had never said those things to me. Things were pretty fuckin’ screwed up in my head.

I went back to bed and she was asleep. I pulled her to me and held her tight. It took me a long time to crash. There was a s**t load of crap in my life right now and part of me wanted to say f**k It and take her and just f**k off somewhere away from all of it.

Part of me thought about just taking off alone and asking my brother to watch out for her until we could fake her death. Maybe I should take off and try to forget her. Despite telling myself that though, I didn’t let go of her. I fell asleep holding onto her for dear life.

In the morning when I opened my eyes she was beside me, watching me sleep.

“Mornin’” I said.

“Hi,” she smiled.

“Would you mind goin’ down and making us some coffee, baby?” I stretched.

“If I refuse, would you spank me again?” she gave me a mischievous look and my face split into a grin.

“Do you want another spanking?” I asked.

“Maybe,” she snuggled in and then gave me a smile.

“How about you make me coffee and I’ll reward you for doing it instead of punishing you for not doing it?”

“Okay,” she smiled, “Can I get an advance?”

I rolled her and got on top and she wrapped her legs around my waist. I grabbed a handful of her hair, loving the curls and loving the gorgeous smile on her sleepy face, “You’re beautiful.” I said.

“You’re beautiful,” she returned.

“You’re mine,” I slid my c**k inside her. Who’d I been trying to kid last night? There was no way I’d give her up. Broken, not broken, she was mine.

“You’re mine,” she said fiercely and her eyes were full of fire when she said that, which stoked my fire real good. I grabbed her tight and held on while I gave her that advance on the coffee. That advance was a good one and it was a good thing, too, because it’d have to last me a while.

Hours later I was getting antsy.

I didn’t like that Chen hadn’t caught Jason Frost yet. He’d sounded like he’d almost had Jason in his grasp when we talked on the phone.

The phone conversation had been a fruitful one…. I hadn’t expected it to be but that was until I’d realized that Chen was headed here to catch Jason. I didn’t care about the reason, I was too relieved by the fact that he wanted Jason to be apprehended.

Azriel was getting his counselor to fly in from the UK for Lisa because she hadn’t budged yet. He said things were tense with him and Claire, that they weren’t really speaking to one another and he admitted to me that he felt like he was unraveling. Add to that the fact that my phone was ringing off the hook with work s**t, s**t that I’d been neglecting because of all the drama I’d been entrenched in.

I was in and out of the cabin on the phone, texting, and trying to deal with a dozen things at once. I was in a bad f*****g mood.

As I headed out the door with a new pack of smokes I heard Angel say, “Maybe you shouldn’t smoke so much.”

“Yeah and maybe it was better when you asked permission before you spoke,” I snapped.

Her expression dropped, her shoulders sagged, and I wished I could snatch it back, “Angel, I’m sorry. I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean it.” I rushed to her and pulled her tight against me, “Forgive me?”

She shook her head a little, “No, Sir.” She said it with pain rather than venom.

My heart hit my gut. I deserved that. I deserved the ‘Sir’ because I’d just treated her like they treated her. I scooped her up, took her upstairs, and laid her down in bed and climbed in beside her. I caressed her face, “I’ll never say anything like that again. Ever. Promise. So sorry, baby.”

Her eyes were cold. But she didn’t pull away. It killed me that she would never pull away from me even if she wanted to but like a selfish prick I took advantage of that sad fact and held her close to me.

“You’re allowed to be mad at me,” I whispered, “Go ahead, pull away. Call me a f*****g bastard. Smack me in the face.”

She stared at the ceiling, hugging herself while I held her. This content © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.

“If I told you to spread your legs for me right now you’d do it, wouldn’t you?” I growled in her ear, “You’d do it despite the fact that I just cut you deep with my words. You’d do it and you’d get wet for me, wouldn’t you?”

Her lower l*p started to tremble.

“Baby, you have every right to be pissed at me. You have every right to call me out on my s**t. I need someone to do that, you know? Call me out when I’m being a prick. Tell me to f*****g cool it. I need that.”

She choked on a sob but held it in, best as she could.

“You are supposed to be everything I need, Angel, and I need that. I need you to be real with me. I need you to dig deep and find the girl you used to be and show her to me. I am crazy about all of what I’ve had from you so far. You’re in here,” I thumped on my chest with a fist, “I want the rest of you, too.”

“Can you please leave me alone for a while, Drake?”

That was a start. It wasn’t yelling and screaming and pounding her fists on my chest out of anger, frustration, and pain, but it was a start.

“Sure.” I let go of her and kissed her forehead, “Again, I’m sorry. I really mean that.”

She shook her head at me, pain in her eyes. I left the room but without looking back I said, “I will do my best to keep giving you what you need. I need you to give me what I need, too, baby. This relationship needs to go both ways.”

I stepped outside but didn’t light the cigarette. I grabbed a long stick from a brush pile and a hunting knife from the nearby toolshed and started to whittle it. It was a skill my Icelandic grandfather taught me. It’d been a while but years ago it’d always been something that relaxed me.

Maybe taking it up again would help me quit smoking. She was right. I’d been smoking a pack and a half a day the last few days and I was wheezing.

I sat for a while outside and whittled and then when I went back in and found her reading a magazine up in the bedroom. She didn’t look at me but I felt her go tense when I stopped at the foot of the bed, about to talk to her.

My phone rang. It was Zack.

“You ready for this?”

“Yeah man.” I sat and braced.

“Gan Chen is in the hospital. His arrival had been scheduled much earlier than we were aware of. Multiple gunshot wounds. Not sure if he’ll survive. His body guards are dead. You out there in the woods with just two guards, I don’t think it’s a good idea. Your uncle’s house might be better. You should probably try to get there. You’re too vulnerable.”

“f**k. f**k f**k f**k!” I winced. I looked at her. She looked alarmed.

“I think you need all the info I have, man.”

“Yeah?”

“Yeah.”

“Lay it on me.” I left the room, heading down the stairs and out the back deck.

“Alright. Your girl’s mother’s name is Felicia Mooney, father’s name David Macleod. Sister, Holly Mooney. You want your girl’s name or you still waiting for her to tell you. If you come in contact with Frost there’s a chance he’ll use her name, anyway.”

“F**k.” I didn’t know what to do but made a snap decision, “Lay it on me.”

“Alright, her name’s Angie Macleod. She was born in South Carolina but at 13 she moved to Juneau to live with her mother after her father died suddenly in a work accident. Mother had Holly by another guy. Angie’s father had custody of her from age 4 but the mother got custody after he died. ”

“Angie Macleod?” I whispered, in complete shock.

“Yeah.”

“Angie?” I repeated.

“Yeah. Angelica Elizabeth Macleod.”

“Angelica?”

“Yep.”

Holy f**k.

“Angie graduated high school early. Smart girl. Mother’s a raging alcoholic and pill popper, still in Juneau. Before your girl left for her teaching job she arranged for the sister to live with the paternal grandmother because the mother was abusive. Angie practically raised the sister. But…oh s**t, we just got a lead on where Jason is. I’ll call you back.” He disconnected.

I took a minute staring out at the woods beyond the deck. I heard noise in the house so I stepped in. She was at the sink filling the tea kettle.

“Angie,” I said. She spun around and it took a second to penetrate. When it did, her eyes were wide. Her mouth dropped open.

“Yeah, I know.” I said, “We need to talk. There are some things going on. Gan Chen and a few of his people are here to try to catch Jason because Jason wanted to buy you and got pissed when he found out you were sold to me. But Gan got shot. He’s in the hospital. Zack told me your name because—”

Her hand clapped over her mouth and she started to tremble so I stopped talking, got to her, got my arms around her, and she shrieked, ducking to get under my arms and away and then she ran around to the other side of the table.

She pointed at me, “No. Stay back. I have to go save her.”

I stopped and put my hands up, “Baby, listen…”

She backed up until her back was to the door and then her hand went to the doorknob.

“We have to talk, Angel. I know some of your story. I need the rest.”

“Oh God!” A sob tore out of her mouth. She turned the knob.

“Don’t, baby. Come here.”

She darted out and started to make a run for it. She ran toward the woods.

f**k! I started running for her. Then I heard a gunshot. It whizzed by me. What the f**k? I heard another shot. Angel was down. I dropped to the ground.

I saw movement from the corner of my eye. He was on the other side of my car. Where the f**k were the security guards? Thank God I was still packing; I fired my gun and clipped him on the shoulder. I ran for him and he shot but missed me. I shot again and caught him in the face. He dropped. I ran and then I was standing over him. He was Asian. He was dead. I shot him again to be sure.

Then I ran for her, watching in case there was anyone else. She was lying on her stomach on the grass.

“I guess your angel is getting her wings,” she said when I leaned over and examined her. She was shot in the calf. She’d be okay.

“Not yet you aren’t, let’s go.” I carefully lifted her up and carried her to my Explorer. She passed out.

Angel’s POV

I woke up in the hospital. I was on an exam table and they were telling Drake they were going to take me into surgery to get the bullet out but that I would be okay.

The nurse and doctor started to talk to me, noticing I was awake and I started to feel the b***d thundering in my ears, the panic setting in. He was sitting beside me.

He had my hand in his and he gave me a look, a look that snapped me into behaved slave mode. But it felt like I was splitting in two. Slave girl and scared girl who needed to f*****g save her sister from the fiery pits of hell.

The nurse and doctor left the exam room and Drake said, “Hey.”

My eyes widened and I started to feel the panic rise. “No. Chill out,” he leaned over me, seizing my wrists, “You can’t freak out, baby. You freak out and they put you in the psych ward. Chill the f**k out.”

“I gotta go, I gotta go. Holly. Holly.”

I realized my throat was naked and I started hyperventilating

“It’s gone. It’s gone. My collar, Oh my God!”

“Baby!” His voice got very stern, “Chill out now before things go really f*****g wrong.”

Drake’s POV

They’d taken her collar and other jewelry off in prep for surgery to remove the bullet but I had it all in my pocket. She was freaking the f**k out and if I didn’t get her chilled out they’d notice her behavior and undoubtedly commit her.

I did what I had to do then so that I could keep her settled. I couldn’t hold her down and rub it out here in the hospital room so I got my mouth against her ear, “Angel do you hear me? This is your f*****g Master telling you to calm. The f**k. Down. Now.”
