I reacted as quickly as I could, however one of his hands managed to swipe my shoulder, his claws prated my skin leaving blood to slowly drip out of the scratch he had made.

It was a truly sad day when you look your own parent in the eye and can't recognize the man he used to be.

"Right..." I whispered to myself, already knowing my actions before I spoke the words. I wiped the small cut on my arm with the palm of my opposite hand, and let my eyes darken before meeting my fathers, my voice came out strong and unwavering as I uttered my statement.
