Chapter 10 Dear Little Yann

Chapter 10 Dear Little Yann

The sun is shining brightly in the afternoon.

Yasin is sitting on a park bench in the inpatient department. His long legs fold, his eyes squinting under the warm autumn sun.

Suddenly, his leg is hit by something. And he opens his eyes slowly.

"I'm sorry, uncle."

A soft voice sounds at his feet.

Yasin looks down and sees a little boy holding a small football. The boy has a pair of large innocent eyes and looks at him with great sorry.

The little boy looks so cute that even with a bare head, he is still stunning and lovely.

The boy has singled-edged eyelids which are easily attractive to other little girls.

Under his eyes is a high nose, and perfect lips without any blemish.

"Sorry, it is Yann's ball that hits your leg."

The kid apologizes politely and takes the initiative to admit his mistake.

Yasin smiled. He can’t help reaching out to touch the little bald head. "It doesn't matter."

"Mister, are you a doctor too?"

The little boy raises his innocent eyes curiously at Yasin’s white coat.

"That's right."

Yasin nodded.

"Mister, you look so handsome!" The little fellow can't help praising him, "You look better than Yann! Amy would change her mind if she knows you."

Yann says while clutching the ball as he tries to crawl toward the bench where Yasin sits.

But Yann is too short to climb up the high chair. He tries very hard but fails.

Yasin cannot help chuckling at his funny appearance. He stretches out his hands and places Yann in the chair beside him.

"Thank you so much, Mister!"

The little boy giggles happily, with his short legs keep shaking.

"What's your name, little monkey?" Yasin strokes his small, bald head softly.

"My name is Yann. That means I will always look toward the sun! How about you, Mister? What's your name?" The little boy blinks and asks in a soft tone.

"My family name is Jing, Yasin." He answers earnestly.

"Doctor Jing?" The little boy stared with astonishment at the tall and handsome mister. His big round eyes look up and down at Yasin. "Mr. Jing, are you Doctor Jing from the brain surgery department?"

"What a coincidence that I am."

Yasin puts his arms over the back and looks curiously at Yann.

"Are you the new professor?"

"Yes." He nods.

"Do you have houses and cars, and a detached villa in the rich neighborhood?"

"..." That’s also right.

"Do you have a strong political background?"

"Hey, are you a detective?"

"Will the nurses get pregnant after hearing your voice?"

"..."

Yasin cannot help snorting with laughter. "That's totally wrong."

It is too horrible if he can make a nurse pregnant with his voice.

"Dear Mr. Jing, are you still single?" He remembers what the nurses had said.

Yasin shakes his head and says, "You are wrong, I have."

"Ah...I see." Yann looks quite sad.

Yasin laughs and asks, "Why do you look so sad? Do you have a crush on me?"

He could not help teasing Yann.

"No." Yann bows his head and touches the small football in his arms. "I hope that, if Mr. Jing doesn't have a girlfriend, I will introduce my mommy to you as your girlfriend."

Yasin is surprised and asks, "Don’t you have a dad?"

"I once had. But he gets divorced from my mom."

"Oh..."

"But Mr. Jing, I must make a clarification. Even though my mom gets troubled because of me, she is still very excellent. She is pretty, kind-hearted, affectionate and strong! She is so nice that she turns down all the blind dates organized by my grandma. In fact, she is afraid that my illness will bring trouble to others. Mr. Jing, what if I can find a boyfriend as good as you for my mom, will she live a relaxing life?"

Hearing what Yann says, Yasin feels so sorry. How sensible a kid!

"Mr. Jing, do you think I can recover totally?" Suddenly, Yann asked in a rather low voice.

"Yes, of course."

He answers firmly.

In fact, Yasin doesn't know what kind of disease Yann is suffering from. But he knows that Yann must have a serious disease for chemotherapy.

Yann sighs, "If one day I fall asleep and never wake up like Mun. My mom would cry sadly. I don't want to see her cry, so I really hope I can get better soon." Original from NôvelDrama.Org.

Mun was a little patient in his ward. She passed away a month ago.

Yasin's throat gets dry and hoarse. He doesn’t know what words can comfort Yann.

"Ah... Mr. Jing, I have something for you." Yann seems to think of something and puts his little hand into the pocket. He grabs something out at random.

"Mr. Jing, maybe this is useful for you."

"..."

Yasin gets so embarrassed.

What Yann pulled out was nothing but a condom! Moreover, it is made in bulk and he never hears the brand.
