Chasing My Pregnant Wife

Chapter 971

This was the first time Theodore had seen Rosalie scold Sebastian.

He crossed his arms and stared at the two of them with a dark look in his eyes, feeling somewhat relieved.

If this had happened in the past, Rosalie's first reaction would have been to defend Sebastian.

Although he felt some relief, there was also a deeper concern. The reason Rosalie wasn't defending Sebastian was because of Vincent.

They had been in a relationship for 11 years, yet Rosalie had unhesitatingly defended Sebastian. This showed just how much Sebastian meant to her.Exclusive © content by N(ô)ve/l/Drama.Org.

But Vincent, in just a few short days, had made Rosalie abandon defending Sebastian. Theodore had a bad feeling.

Vincent seemed like a forceful intruder, capable of easily disrupting the existing relationships.

"Rose, are...are you blaming me?" Sebastian's heart raced as he widened his eyes in disbelief.

"If you think I'm blaming you, then yes, I am blaming you," Rosalie replied.

Rosalie felt exhausted. She didn't want to blame Sebastian, but she couldn't control the feeling of resentment.

Things had gotten so messy, but Sebastian was still acting like everything he did was for her sake even though all he did was cause trouble.

"Rose," Sebastian said, "I was worried about you. How could I yell at you over the phone? What if there was someone bad around you? I had no choice but to go look for you in secret. I was worried about you. Can't you try to see it from my perspective?

You went out that night, and I didn't know where you were. The only possibility was that you went to find Theodore, and as it turns out, I wasn't wrong. You did go to find him. Even if your disappearance wasn't his doing, it started because of him. If you hadn't gone to find him, you wouldn't have disappeared. If I didn't go find Theodore, who else could I look for?"

"I know you were worried about me. I've never doubted that," Rosalie said, frustrated. "But can you stop denying your mistakes? I'm really tired."

Sebastian was silent.

Mistakes? Tired?

Rosalie had just used those words with him. She had changed.

Sebastian looked at Rosalie with a hurt expression.

"What you two did was really excessive," Rosalie said helplessly. "Even if you couldn't find me, you still shouldn't have just blown up someone's house without being sure. You should have at least asked me first.

"Rose, I'm sorry. I promise there won't be a next time. Next time, I'll do better," Sebastian said, holding her hand desperately. "Please don't blame me, okay?"

The situation was bad, and he could only soften his stance for now.

Theodore sneered as he watched Sebastian's pitiful display. "You really know how to act."

Sebastian lifted his gaze and shot Theodore a cold glance. "What am I acting for? Are you saying my injuries weren't caused by you?"

"That's right, I hit you," Theodore admitted straightforwardly.

"Did you hear that? He admitted it! I only wanted to find you, and he was so violent!" Sebastian said.

Theodore said, "Sebastian, you know exactly why I hit you. Why don't you tell Rose the truth? Why do you only say I hit you, but not what you did?"

Theodore had gotten used to Sebastian's performances. He was a sneaky, underhanded man who always pretended to be weak and innocent, as if he had been wronged every time. It was always other people's fault, who loved to beat him up for no reason.

There were plenty of innocent people in the world, but Sebastian was definitely not one of them.
