Chapter 59
Thirty minutes later,
walk-in closet were mostly gowns in bright and flashy colors, which were not really her kind of colors.
Rose had just changed her clothes into a new one. And this time, she was wearing a simple knee-length white string-strap dress, since the tiny string strap exposed so much of her skin she grabbed a small white puff sleeve jacket and wore it. Most of the dresses in her
Even in her past life, she has always preferred dark colored and less flashy clothes. And she still kept her preference in dress even until now that she had been reborn. But since she hadn't brought her own clothes, she could only manage with the ones she could find in her closet.
It was also one of the reasons why she wanted to follow Sophia out, because she planned to do some shopping and also use the opportunity to test the two credit cards her mother has left for her.
After she was done wearing the jacket, Rose tied her long hair up into a high ponytail using a white ribbon she had found. She didn't need to apply makeup on her face since she already had an attractive face, wearing would only draw more attention to herself so she only applied lip gloss on her lips. She wore her white sandals, grabbed a white chain bag and placed the two credit cards in it.
Rose's entire appearance was like an angel who had just descended from heaven. The white dress really completes her pale snow white skin adding an extra touch of brightness to her. If Sophia had seen Rose now, she might actually lose control of herself and not control her jealousy.
After she was done, Rose walked out of the room downstairs. The moment she saw a maid walking past her she stopped her.
"Excuse me, do you know where Sophia is?" Rose asked, before downstairs she had gone to check Sophia's room but can't find her in the room.
"Eldest Miss, second young miss just left the mansion." The maid replied, she managed to maintain a composed expression despite being completely mesmerized by Rose's beauty.
"She left? How long was that?" Rose asked again with a small frown on her. Does that mean that Sophia left without telling her, when she knew she was waiting for her?
"I'm not really sure, eldest Young Miss. But I think it's been up to thirty minutes now." The maid replied again, uncertainty could be heard in her voice.
"Thank you. Please tell the Head maid that I left the mansion already. I can't find her." Rose nodded her head to instruct the maid because she thought that Paige might be worried about her absence.
She walked towards the entrance. 'This is what you were planning when you willingly accepted earlier. What a shame!' Rose was a bit disappointed at Sophia's little trick and scheme. It's one thing when a person is unaware of the intentions of the people around them, because that is what hurts the most when they find out. But it's another thing when the person was already aware of all the schemes, the pain would eventually turn into disappointment and that was what Rose felt at the moment.
Since one of the drivers had driven
Matthew to the company, the second driver had also driven Beatrice to God knows where and finally the third driver who had drove both Rose and Sophia to school this morning had taken Sophia out now. Rose was technically left with no driver to drive her out.
Since this was an estate, she knew how hard it would be to get a taxi, so Rose pulled her phone out and ordered for an Uber driver. She had for an extra fifteen minutes, before she got a notification that the Uber driver was waiting outside the mansion gates for her. According to everyone she had just arrived back in the country so she doesn't know many places. However, no one knew that she was actually a reborn soul that is aware of her way around in the country.
Rose gave the Uber driver the
pet
address of where she was going after boarding the car. With or without Sophia, she planned to go do some shopping. After all, it wasn't like she wanted to go with her anyway and what Sophia just did Would leave more room for her
tonight at the dining table.
A few minutes later, the Uber driver parked the car in front of a big boutique with the big logo of R's Boutique. Rose was aware that this is one of the most expensive boutiques in Los Angeles. Earlier, Rose had told the Uber driver not to leave after she got to her destination. She had instructed him to drive her everywhere she planned to visit today and she was willing to pay any amount he wanted. Seeing that she stepped out of the famous Gray mansion, the driver couldn't argue and just agreed to her.
The moment Rose alighted from the car, she quickly gained the attention of the passerby who were stunned by her beauty. Ignoring the stares she received, Rose made her way to the entrance.
"Good afternoon, ma'am. Welcome to our boutique. You came to the right place to shop for clothes." Rose was a bit stunned when a sales lady walked up to her immediately she entered. She glanced at the sales lady who had a smile on her face as she greeted her. 'I see why they say, you don't have to beg for people to find you as long as you possess beauty and money they would come find you by themselves.' She thought to herself.
"I'd like to buy some clothes, and shoes." Rose calmly said. All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.

for clothes. You're in luck, young miss, because we just received a new batch of clothes today and I'm sure you'd find what you like. I'm Louisa, I will be in charge of Young Miss. Please let's go." The sales lady cheerfully said as she introduced herself.
"I'm in your care, Miss Louisa." Rose calmly nodded her head and followed the saleslady to the section of new clothes that just came in.
