Billionaire’s Second Chance Sweetheart

Chapter 9

“They went to Ciqi Group this afternoon to examine what was going there.”

Except for Ava, who was startled, everyone had fled.

Then she learned her employer had forced her take on the new project. Ava was sad since she had previously taken a lengthier absence, thus the yearly leave would not be valid this year.

Ava Lins collected her belongings and traveled to Ciqi Group in the afternoon. She stayed at the business to work and get to know Goden Bran in order to meet everyone.

By the time she was ready to return, it was late.

As Ava exited the revolving door, she noticed a sports car parked in front of the company’s entrance.

Jeorge Milton seemed astonished. Was she present?

He stubbed out his cigarette, stomped on the gas, and followed her out the door. He had forgotten he was waiting for his spouse to eat.

As he cautiously followed her, he seemed to maintain a certain distance.

He was right close to her, and she was peering into his eyes.

As he remembered her pouring wine on his face, the blackness in his eyes got even more intense.

His phone unexpectedly rang. In reaction, Jeorge Milton pressed the answer button. She was gone when he peered up again.

His eyes was lured to her immediately away. He peered around but couldn’t spot her…

“Jeorge? Did you hear what I said? Hey…

“Hello?”

He hung up the phone. He got a cigarette and put it in his mouth, but he did not want to ignite it…

His lips twisted into a mocking grin.

At home,

Ava Lins, I’m already separated from you, so don’t return to cook for me like a nanny!

She couldn’t let him go hungry when he returned.

She called him, wanting to ask shen he woud cme back but no one answered.

What was he doing being so late?

Ava would never know that while she was waiting for Goden Bran, he had brought Belle Tannu to his house.

He drew Belli Tannu in, and she hurried in after knocking. “Auntie, let me assist you,” she grinned as she saw Goden’s mother trimming some flowers.

“It’s OK, just walk outside and speak to Goden; he can take you to our garden.”

“Take her to stroll about, Goden Bran,” she murmured to Goden Bran as she pushed Belli Tannu out the door.

They entered the backyard, where Goden Bran was at the pool. His black eyes were serene, and he pursed his lips as though considering.

Belli Tannu clutched his hand even more strongly.

“Relax,” she added, smiling, “I’ll talk to my father about the business venture you are enged in. He would undoubtedly hep you.”

“Than you Belli,” Goden Bran whispered as he brought her into his arms.

She shook her head and grinned. “I am here to aid you and us in the future, and I will do everything I can to help you.”

Emily Howard, Goden Bran’s mother , hidden behind a locked door, overheard her. She was really satisfied.

Unlike Ava Lins, this new daughter-in-law was not only attractive, but she could also aid the family’s company…

When Goden Bran arrived home, he noticed Ava sleeping on the dining table. As he proceeded toward the stairwell, an unexpected feeling flashed /

He turned to see her pleasantly sleeping face before approaching her and pulling her up.

Her long, straight hair flowed down, obscuring the tears around her eyes.

She blinked awake as soon as he raised her.

When she heard his footsteps, her heart fell. When he returned, she smirked since she had been humiliated and thought he still cared for her.

Ava decided not to pretend to sleep as he placed her on the bed. Her eyes welled up as she threw her arms around his neck

Surprisingly, he yearned to grab her hand in his,

“What are you doing to me? Is your heart freezing? It will not warm up, no matter how hard I try…”

Goden Bran’s attention couldn’t help but be pulled to her petal-like lips, and…

Until he witnessed her close her eyes and hug her affectionately.

He seemed to think of something. He snatched her hand away and scurried away from her like a virus. Then he turned around and went away…

As he approached the door, she held him tightly

“Please don’t go,” she implored cautiously.

But he yanked her hand away and made a horrible expression.

Ava had the feeling that he misconstrued the meaning of last night’s kiss. She raced towards him, obstructing his way.

” I can tell you what happened yesterday, Goden. So…”

“Do you think I’d believe you?”

” He cut her off, his eyes ridiculing her.

He coughed and averted her sight just as Ava was going to clarify something.

“I don’t want to dispute with you, this house is for you, and I will stay outside from now on,” Goden Bran replied, his heart palpitation as he saw her tears.

He approached the door with his back to herAll text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.

Ava glanced at his back, expecting things to change

But…

“you’ve already accepted to divorce” , he added.

Ava Lins followed him through the door with a confused expression on her face.

Ava Lins felt as though the world had ended when it came time for her divorce.

As she down the stairs, she thought back to the first time she had met Goden Bran, and her anxiety level remained unchanged.

The manager extended an invitation to her for a professional dinner.

Ava was eager to get outside, but as she was exiting the restaurant, she came dangerously close to colliding with another patron.

On the other hand, he had followed her across to the other side.

While she went in a leftward direction, the man went in a rightward direction.

As soon as she noticed his annoying grin and the tattoos on his hands, Ava knew he was in grave danger.

She walked past him to leave, but he reached out a hand and blocked her path.

“Miss Lins, please don’t be in such a hurry.”

How did he manage to remember her name?

“Wensor lins was the one who told me that his daughter is married to the head of the Goden Group, and I believe that to be true. You must be rather affluent if you are in a position to assist your father in returning the money, right?”

When Ava heard that, her stomach immediately sprang into her throat.

“Does he owe you money or something else.”

“Only 200, 000!”

“I still have his IOU, thus it would be your responsibility to pay it back

Her life’s savings were used up on the operation, and the remaining balance was what the surgeon demanded to be paid immediately. How on earth was she going to come up with two hundred thousand bucks! Goden Bran wanted to divorce her.

Her dad had swore that he would never gamble again.

After that, she continued on.
