Chapter 5
Ava rushed to the hospital after taking Omi’s call. When she arrived, she heard Tianra screaming .
“You saved me? How did you save me? Go. Let me go, I can not live like this!”
“I will die if I have to live like a monster.” Please, Daddy and Grandma, let me die!
“I do not want to see you. I do not want to see you!”
Her hopeless wail pierced his heart .
She dared not enter to know what had happened…
How beautiful and confident she was on stage…
But now she had to lose her arms.
Ava stood at the door and heard the sobbing. Her heart did too. After a while, the doctor’s sedative had stopped the wailing, but everyone’s mood was somber.
“Sis, you’re very chilly,” Omi murmured, clasping her hand.
Ava felt her eyes burn as she listened to Omi’s anguish. She smiled at him and wanted to say something, but she could not.
“I am going to look for that guy!” raged Omi, suddenly straightening up.
Omi!
He had to pass the college entrance test this year.
“Go on. Let me look for him, I have dealt with him before. He may be the only one who can inspire her to live right now.”
She had never realized how much she loved him…
As if she were that stupid.
Ava Lins had been preparing in her mind to meet Jeorge Milton.
She had to put up with his arrogance and cockiness. She had come to convince him.
Maybe now she would hear him.
She knew this kind of love was ridiculous, but she hoped it would last.
As long as he encouraged her and explained that it was just a misunderstanding between them, she would get out of the valley of life.
She rang the doorbell and knocked on the suite door. No sound came from inside.
She knocked again. “Milton?”
“Is Mr. Milton in?”
She went to knock with her hand, but the door opened and froze her hand.
His collar had popped. He found her leaning against the door. His dark eyes were almost imperceptibly surprised. “You are looking for me?” he asked slowly.
“Are you waiting, or do you want me to punish you?
“Mr. Milton, can we talk?” Ava Lins clenched her fist.
He laughed softly and raised his heavy brows. “Are you that kind today?”
“Disgusting beast!” Ava smiled, but in her heart she wanted to scream.
He seemed to be able to read her mind. “Are you condemning me in your heart?” he said softly.
Then she wondered how he could see through her.
“Tell me, why are you looking for me?” said Jeorge Milton.
But he turned and went back to his room. He lit a cigarette and smoked. Ava followed him and saw only a naked woman under the covers on his bed…
His dark eyes did not leave her.
His look was as if he wanted to examine her under a microscope.
His gaze irritated Ava. “Mr. Milton?” she asked darkly.
“It’s not impossible, but what can I get if I help you?” he said slowly, stubbing out his cigarette.
She stared at him in confusion.
Then he answered the lady on the bed, “You just ruined my interest, why do not you replace her? Will you come with me for once and I’ll help you?”
Ava Lins was taken aback when she realized what he meant.
“You!”
“It seems I was wrong, I should not have gone to a beast like you just to debate with your lowly intellect!” she muttered between her teeth.
Then she turned and walked away.
He slammed the door with a dull thud. His eyes were downcast and his lips curved into a mocking bow.
Scum!
Ava Lins wished she could curse aloud on this busy street!
She sucked in her breath and her lungs burst with rage.
She had read in the press about the foul behavior of some srich people. She never expected such a thing to happen to her!
As she walked, she looked up and noticed Goden Bran’s office.
She had strayed here unknowingly. She wanted to see him anyway.
She saw Belli Tannu. “Belli Tannu!” exclaimed Ava Lins enthusiastically, despite her confusion.
Belli Tannu turned her head, amazed to see her. Then she laughed strangely, “Ava, why do you come?”
“I am just wandering around,” Ava forced herself to grin.
“Oh, no… Oh… I came to look for a buddy who works here too.”
” Maybe I know him too.”
Belli Tannu sputtered, but Goden Bran strode out the glass door.
“Boss,” the security guard said.
Ava and Belli Tannu looked at each other.
Goden Bran was also surprised to see Ava Lins!
He turned away, frowning. “Be careful!” they said as he approached them.
He opened his eyes and saw that the crystal ceiling lamp above him was loosening and threatening to fall…
His chest tightened. He grabbed her and dodged to the side.
Then a loud bang.
The lamb fell from above, about a meter away from Ava Lins…
This breathtaking spectacle made everyone gasp…
Ava Lins’ beautiful face had turned pale with fear.
She was stunned and her pale face made her too exposed to move.Copyright Nôv/el/Dra/ma.Org.
With hatred and disbelief, she looked into the injured eyes …
Her husband reached out to lure others away, but not her…
Surely he knew that if the lamp fell on her, she would die?
Or did her life and death mean nothing to him?
She seemed afraid, she thought.
How could she fail to cry out in such a critical situation?
“Ava, what happened to you?” asked Belli Tannu, “Are you okay?”
“It was so risky now. “I was scared.
“I am OK” she forced herself to grin.
“I have to work, so I’ll go first.”
“Ava, are you okay?” Her voice trembles.
She jokes. “Fine.”
She turned and walked away. When she came back, her tears had stopped.
He did not care about her .
Why was it so hard to love someone who did not love her? Ava Lins suddenly felt that she could not go on.
