I knocked on the door for the fifth time and winced, The door is so hard, I’ve been banging my hands on it for the past five Minutes but no one is answering.

MAGNOLIA POV

I walked into the hall immediately, Maynard was sitting on the CEO seat with Mateo beside him.

I just entered the office and they announced there’s an urgent meeting in the conference room.

Only God knows what’s happening.

After we all assembled, Maynard stood up and the atmosphere was tensed .

” Good Morning Everyone, I’m sorry I called an urgent meeting this early morning, This will come as a shock to everyone but I’m sorry to inform you that I will drop this position temporarily for my Dad’s wife, Brea for the meantime so I can treat the illness I was diagnosed of months ago, Leukemia… ”
