Chapter 1361 Dependent on Each Other
Chapter 1361 Dependent on Each Other
Lauren was right.
I nodded and said, "You're right. I've been careful in dealing with them, and sometimes it's quite challenging.'
Lauren reassured me, "You don't need to worry about this. Ivanna won't have any objections."
"They're like family, and I'm afraid any slight deviation might hurt the other." This was something I could only confide in Lauren. "I hope for a win-win solution to resolve their issues. After all, their relationship is unique."
"I understand." Lauren smiled at me. "It's tough on you. After all, they are not the same kind of people."
"We've got no reason to worry. Jared knows exactly how to balance the situation." I leaned back on the couch and added, "Jared probably already coordinated this matter."
"How so?" Lauren asked eagerly.
I recounted the recent events involving Anson and Jared visiting my father, followed by Jared bringing Ivanna to dinner at Pleca Park.
This revelation surprised Lauren. She asked, "So, how was it resolved?"
"I'm also curious how it was resolved. It feels a bit unbelievable."
Lauren chuckled. "Some things just can't be rushed. Maybe things fell into place naturally. Perhaps Trinity's focus has shifted, and she's found someone else to care about."
"She found someone else to care about?" I repeated Lauren's words, pondering Trinity's recent changes. She did seem gentler these days. "Could she really have found someone else to care about?" I mumbled to myself in disbelief.
Lauren patted my shoulder. "It's a good sign. But whether she loves someone else or not isn't our concern. Right now, visiting your dad is what matters to me."
I checked the time and said to Lauren, "Let's go. He should be awake by now."
She followed me as we headed to the annex.
There was a nicely renovated small garden between the annex and the main building, filled with palm trees, exotic flowers, and fragrant scents.
I saw Anya pushing Loak out, and he was sitting in a lounge chair, basking in the sun. They looked like they were having a good time chatting
with each other.
I called out to Lauren and went out the side door to the garden to see the siblings.Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.
"Anya."
I walked over, looking at Loak's thin face, which was still somewhat pale. After all, he was severely injured, and he had lost a lot of weight recently. "How do you feel, Loak?" I asked.
He struggled to sit up, and I quickly pressed him back down. "Don't get up. Just make yourself at home."
"I'm fine," he said with a weak smile, seeming a bit breathless.
Seeing him like this tugged at my heartstrings. If it weren't for Loak, my father might never have returned.
"Does your wound still hurt?" I asked worriedly. "Don't sit for too long."
"It's much better now and not very painful," he replied with a forced smile.
Just then, Loak's attending doctor came out to check on him. Seeing me, he quickly approached and
reported, "His wound has healedet
very well, and he's recovering quickly. He's quite resilient, but he might still feel some pain."
"How much longer will he hurt?" I asked the doctor.
"Until the wound fully heals. After that, he won't feel any more pain."
"Are you all okay with the food here? Please let Jim know if you need anything. Sometimes, we're too busy and may not take care of you

know your needs," I told them.
"We're fine," Anya said gratefully. "The soup is very nutritious, and my brother loves it a lot."
"That's good. Don't worry. This place will be your home now." I comforted the siblings.
Anya looked at me and said, "When my brother gets better, can I take care of Mr. Rory?"
