Beverly

Chapter 32

Beverly Carington

“Be professional.” I reminded Clyde and he sighed.

“I can’t.” He said and I smacked his arm.

“Get in your sense!” I hissed.

“Fine… fine… but you’re having lunch with me.” He said and I nodded. The door lift opened and we walked out to his office. We walked into the work room together and Sean and Vin.

“Morning Beverly, I got you your favorite matcha latte.” Sean!!!!! I turned to Clyde and he glared at me. I forgot to tell him that.

“Thanks.” I said and I sipped the matcha latte. I sat on my work desk and Clyde was already glaring at me hard. He took my matcha latte and drank it.

“I’m thirsty… sorry.” He drank it all. I looked at him in disbelief.

“Childish.” I mouthed and he glared at me again. I turned my head to my work and started to work again. I worked seriously until I felt someone kissed my cheek.

“Clyde!” I turned to him and I looked around to see no one. I turned to my watch and it’s 12 o’clock.

“Let’s have lunch together.” He said as he put his hand in front of me. I took it and smiled.

“Let’s go.” I said and I got up from my seat.

“I hate Sean boy.” He hissed and I smacked his arm. We walked from the work room and got into the lift. We walked out to the lobby and got into his car.

“Where are we eating?” I asked as I took Tunayde from the back seat.

“My favorite food of all times.” I raised my eyebrows when he said that in a really exciting tone.

“Okay.”

“So… you like matcha latte.”

“Yes… I like it. I love it.” I said.

“You forgot to tell me yesterday.”

“Clyde, I can’t say everything in an hour. Don’t be an asshole.” I hissed and he chuckled.

“Give me my Tunayde.”

“Just name him Clyde… what a weird name…”

“How about Tuneverly?” I smacked his arm and he laughed.

“Tunaverly?” I glared at him and he ruffled my hair.

“See Tunayde is the best option.” He said again.

“Whatever.” Suddenly my phone rang and it’s Sean.

“Who is it?”

“Sean.” I answered. He took my phone right away.

“Clyde! Let me talk to him…” He answered the call.

“Hello Sean… What do you mean ‘who are you’? You don’t know m-” I took the phone from him.Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!

“Sorry about that Sean.”

“Who’s that?”

“My friend, I’m having lunch with a friend.”

“Oh… I bought you lunch. I thought you’re going to draw and make a lot of sketches.” He said.

“No… I’m with my friend.”

“Boyfriend!” Clyde shouted and I shut his mouth.

“What?”

“Just friends… I’ll see you later on.” I said and ended the call.

“He really likes you huh?” Clyde asked.

“But I don’t like him.”

“Of course, you don’t. You like me.” He said confidently and I looked at Tunayde.

“Tunayde… I love you.”

“Oh god.” He said and at the same time his phone rang. He took it out and answered it.

“Yes grandma? What?! You’re already boarding?! Ugh! Can you leave us alone and get happy later? Fine fine! Yeah… see you later on.”

“Grandma?” I asked.

“Yeah and apparently my whole family is already board in the airplane ready to go here to New York.”

“Oh my god.”

“Yeah… oh my god.” Clyde repeated. We arrived at the place and I looked around but there’s no name for the restaurant.

“My favorite food… I used to come here with Jack.” I pouted hearing Jack’s name and he chuckled.

“He doesn’t know and he won’t know. Relax.”

“What kind of food?” I asked as I got out of the car. I closed the door and walked to Clyde. He held my hand and we walked in. Oh my gosh… there’s a lot of people here.

“This restaurant has the best kobe beef.” My eyes widen.

“I never try it… gosh so exciting.” I squealed and he asked for our table and apparently this guy already made a reservation. The waiter walked us to our table and we sat across each other. Clyde ordered the food for me and he asked me to trust him for this. I nodded completely agreeing.

“Oh my gosh… there’s a puppy.” I pointed and Clyde saw it too.

“I love puppy like that.”

“Golden retriever.” Clyde said.

“Yeah and it’s one of the best dogs on earth. I love it and I love pug. If I have a dog, I will name him pug clyde.” I said and Clyde looked at me flatly.

“I will name my dog Beverlyden.” He said and I rolled my eyes.

“You’re childish for a man who will turn 30 soon.”

“Thankyou… my grandma used to say that my mental age is 6 years old.” He said and I laughed.

“I miss the snow… suddenly. Summer is killing me. I can’t stand the heat!” I hissed as I looked outside.

“It will come soon besides fall is coming.” Clyde said.

“I love fall… the leaves are pretty. What’s your favorite season?” I asked him.

“Winter… and Spring.”

“So not cool, winter is damn cold.”

“That’s the perfect season to cuddle.” He smirked.

“Cuddle with your bed.”

“With you, Beverly.”

“Oh…” I said and chuckled.

“Weekend is coming… I can’t wait to re-watch all marvel movies and the gossip girl.”

“No no… your weekend these days will be mine. You will spend time with me and my family.” He said and I just remembered that his family will come. It makes me smile right away.

“I’m all yours then.”

“You know… when I’m with you… we never out of topic. You always found a new topic to talk about and I love it.” He said and I smiled.

“What can I say? I’m a great woman.” I winked and he laughed.

“You are.” He said and he suddenly moved to the chair beside me. He leaned to me and I leaned back.

“What are you doing?”

“What do you think I’m doing?” He smirked.

“Clyde…” I warned him. He cupped my face and crashed his lips to mine. He kissed me hard and passionate. I circled my arms around his neck and kissed him back with the same pace.

I miss this… a lot.
