Be Your Lover Forever (Alicia)

Chapter 205

Who accused her? How many people had wanted to hurt her?

How much injustice had she suffered that she even begged pitifully in her dreams?

That night, Frederick felt an ache roiling in his chest. He could not do anything except to hold her, his heart unable to find peace.

The next day, when Alicia opened her eyes, she felt dizzy and her body ached uncomfortably.

Her thoughts were fragmented as she slowly propped herself up. Her gaze was still sluggish until she saw the marks on her arms and the memories returned.

As if something came to her mind, she threw off the quilt and hopped down the bed.

She rushed to the closet and was dumbfounded. Where was her suitcase? Where was her bag? She remembered that she had everything packed and placed it right here!

She paced around the area and spotted the overflowing trash can. Moving forward, the tom clothing came into sight. Rage sparked in her eyes.

B*stard!

She had just bought those clothes last year! They could still be worn and he had cut them up! Where was her suitcase? Did he throw it away too?

Anger flooding her veins, Alicia turned around just to see Frederick walking in with his phone in hand. Their eyes met and his lips curled into a smile while she shot daggers at him.

"How can you touch my things? Who gave you the right to throw away my clothes?"

Seeing that she had the strength to yell at him, he was delighted. "Those are trash, why shouldn't I throw them away?"

His eyes narrowed when he saw her walking around barefooted in her thin nightdress. "Why did you come out from bed in just this? You're getting messier! Aren't you afraid of catching a cold? Get back to bed!" NôvelDrama.Org content rights.

She looked around huffing and almost fainted from exasperation. She noticed that the translation dictionaries were back in their places on the shelf. She had spent days packing and arranging her belongings, and everything went back to where they were after one night of sleep?

Was the suitcase back in its place too?

She sprinted to the closet and pulled the pink suitcase out.

She was prepared to pack her things again, not giving him a single glance.

Frozen for two seconds, Frederick then grabbed her wrist. "What are you doing?"

"I'm going home! Should I stay here and wait to entertain your clients again? I'm not that pathetic!" She shook his hand off but felt pangs of pain in her heart.

"Ally!¹' he spoke again with a weaker tone, regret written all over his face.

"Don’t touch me!"

Using the suitcase, she tried to shove him out of the way.

"Wouldn't a filthy person like me dirty the hands of the high and mighty Mr. Clements? F*ck off! I don't want to stay here for even one more second! I hate you, hate you! You're the most shameless man I've ever met! No, you're not a man! We haven't even divorced and you asked your wife to

escort other men? You aren't afraid of being a cuckold; what more couldn't you do? You're a jerk! I won't be with someone like you even if I had to die! You call yourself a f*king man? Let go of me, let go-"

Punching and kicking, she was not only furious but desolate. A man who could not protect his own woman was useless; he was worse than that!

She was looking for someone she could rely on, not someone to push her off a cliff!

In that instant, all she wanted was to escape this h*lI of a marriage. All her reluctance and longing disappeared into thin air. As much as she loved him, she would never reduce herself to something so meek and pathetic.

Frederick's expression changed but he said nothing and held on to her hard.

Unable to break free, she bit him. A jarring row of teeth marks appeared on the back of his hand but he never let go.

She bit him till her jaw hurt, therefore she had to let go and started kicking him. "You let go of me! Let go!"

He forcefully pulled her into his arms. "This was an accident! It won't happen ever again!"

Struggling, she would not listen to a single word of his. "I want to go home! Give me the divorce agreement!"

His arms around her, he felt terrible. "Ally-"

"Don't touch me!"

The two of them were tangled together at the door. Just as she pushed him away, the door opened and Carson walked in. All that came into his view was a pair of fair, long legs. He froze immediately.

"Sorry, sorry, you guys continue!"

As Carson waved his hands and covered his eyes, Alicia realized that she was still in that thin nightdress. Due to all the mess with Frederick, the hem of her dress was lifted up and she was bare underneath. She wanted to push Frederick away but she instinctively turned into his arms the next second. After all, the thin fabric could not hide her figure and although she hated him, it was better than being left exposed to the eyes of another man.

Coming back to his senses, Frederick reached out and covered her. "Get out! Do you want to have your eyes gouged out?"

Only then did Carson step out before closing the door in a hurry. Alicia was red with embarrassment and frustration, her rage petered out.

When Carson entered again, Alicia was back in bed, wearing a coat over the nightdress. At least she was presentable at this moment!

After taking her temperature and examining her, he still gave her a shot and took out two ointments from his medical kit.

"Basically, your fever has subsided and you're fine now! Take care of yourself to not catch a cold. These ointments are for your wounds and scars! Remember to apply them!

"Thank you, Doctor Vives!"

Alicia's voice was soft and easy- going when she spoke. She sat up thinking of something. "Am I well enough to get out of the house and go to work?"

"Well, as long as your body feels okay and there's no discomfort, there won't be any problems!"

"Is there any medicine to get rid of the bruises on my face immediately?"

"Miss Blanchard, I am just a doctor, not omnipotent!"

"Oh, then, Doctor Vives, when will my wounds heal? Can I still apply makeup? Would it have any effects? Will I have scars? Do you have something to speed up my recovery? What about the drip? Is there some medicine that'll keep one from being angry and losing one's temper?

"Ally!"

Looking at Carson eagerly, Alicia asked question after question without stopping like a little chatterbox. However, when she faced Frederick, she drooped her eyes, turned her head to ignore him, and acted like a little mute girl.

Carson shrugged speechlessly while Frederick became so mad that his chest was rising and falling furiously.

"Miss Blanchard, have a good rest and you will be fine! If there's nothing else, I'll take my leave. Frederick, would you not walk me out?"
