Chapter 1067 Boycotted
"Do you not want me to leave?" Theodore asked nonchalantly, grinning.
Little Bunny was at a loss for words. Theodore's confidence was something she wasn't sure if he was
born with or developed over time.
"I took a week off, so there's no rush. I can stay and keep you company for 5 days." Theodore said
casually.
So all she had to do was endure for 5 days.
"How long will you be filming here?" Theodore asked, feeling like it was too far away from everything
else. It wasn't an easy trip for him either, especially when he thought about the bumpy mountain roads
they had to travel on just to get there. He went all out for Little Bunny's sake.
"I don't know, it depends on the director's schedule. It could be a month or 2 weeks."
"Where are you filming next?"
"Back in the Capital."
"That would be better." Theodore pondered it over before saying, "When you get back to the Capital,
move in with me."
Little Bunny chose silence as her response, which meant yes in Theodore's eyes since he thought she
was just pretending to be coy around him anyway.
They were having lunch together. The lunch was a very rich and tasty one, but Little Bunny didn't eat
much of it at all.
"Can't you eat more?" asked him. Suddenly he felt the food unappetizing because of her lack of
appetite. When did Little Bunny become so influential over his mood?
"I need to lose weight."
"Little Bunny,"
"As an actress, I have no choice." She didn't intend to argue with him, nor did she want to be forced by
him.
"Then don't be an actress."
She looked up at him.
"How much money do you earn as an artist? One million? Two million? Whatever amount it is I'll give it
to you."
In his view, women pursued nothing more than money, let alone their careers.
"I want to act." She said patiently after taking a deep breath.
"What's the point?"
"I don't know how to explain it to you, but I love this job," she said while trying to keep calm.
"Fine then, do whatever makes you happy, but at least finish your food. You should finish half of them
on your plate."
Little Bunny was a bit uncomfortable being ordered by him.
"Little Bunny!" Theodore was a bit angry. He thought she should do as he asked since he had
compromised halfway.
"Okay," Little Bunny agreed. After all, it was just five days of enduring it. She would lose weight
properly after these five days.
Theodore felt inexplicably good when he saw she agree to his request. That made him a bit excited.
After lunch, Theodore was still in the mood. He said, "Go back to the room for some rest."
"I have another scene to shoot."
"You're not going to sleep because of filming?" Theodore wasn't pleased but seeing that Little Bunny
didn't say anything, he compromised again. "Fine then, come back early tonight so we can have dinner
together."
"Alright." Or, she wouldn't be able to leave anyway.
She left directly for the shooting location even though there wasn't any scene for her during noon time.
She just didn't want to stay with Theodore around.
She sat in her makeup room with her eyes closed while thinking about things. She should give up the
idea of getting rid of Caroline with the help of Theodore. He could be interested in Caroline later on too.
It would be a loss-loss situation for both of them involved since Caroline could also get rid of her
eventually if she went down this path. So she could only be endured being annoyed by Theodore until
things passed over with time. At least, that was how she comforted herself about the situation.
Suddenly, Little Bunny's phone rang.
"Little Bunny! What have you done to Caroline? Do you know what people are saying about you now? Content rights by NôvelDr//ama.Org.
They're calling you an ungrateful person!" The manager on the other end roared angrily before hanging
up abruptly without giving any chance for an explanation or response from her.
Little Bunny frowned as the sudden outburst from her manager confused and frustrated her, "What
happened?"
"What happened?! Look at the news!" Her manager hung up all at once.
Little Bunny saw a headline on her phone, reading, "Did the Friendship' between Little Bunny and
Caroline Break Due to the Slap?"
The title alone showed conflict. And there had been already tens of millions of views within ten minutes
along with countless comments increasing rapidly. Trying hard not let emotions take over completely,
she read through the article carefully.
The news had exposed everything that happened on the set today. There were photos of her slapping
Caroline and photos of Caroline looking sad with red eyes. The news also wrote about how Caroline
had given Little Bunny all those resources that were originally hers, but now they all belonged to Little
Bunny because of Caroline's help. Everyone thought she was a backstabber and felt sorry for
Caroline's kindness towards her. People said that she was just jealous because Caroline was more
popular than her.
The comments were overwhelming, filled with people cursing at her and even starting a boycott against
anything related to Little Bunny, from endorsements to TV shows. Little Bunny watched silently as tears
welled up in her eyes. As an artist, being exposed online was nothing new or unusual, but she had
always been careful not to offend anyone and avoided any scandals.
She called her manager immediately after reading the news, "I don't know why this is happening. And
all of this is intentionally done by Caroline."
"What's the use of saying that now? Stord just called me and said if we don't handle this well with
public relations, he will consider reducing your screen time. Also, all your endorsement deals have
contacted me about pulling out. You should be ready for them."
Tears streamed down from Little Bunny's eyes.
"Is there anything we can do?"
"I don't know yet, we could only wait for the boss's arrangement." Said the manager.
"All those resources I got before were mine, can't we expose Caroline's lies?" asked Little Bunny
desperately.
"Do you think everyone in showbiz is stupid? Or do you think everyone here plays fair?" retorted the
manager sarcastically. "Who dares to stand up against someone like Caroline right now? She's so
popular that everyone wants to suck up to her! Who would be foolish enough to risk their career for a
tainted artist like you?"
The conversation ended abruptly when the manager hung up without giving any comfort or solution
whatsoever.
