After Being Cheating

Chapter 356 Why did He Love His Stupid Daughter

Chapter 356 Why did He Love His Stupid Daughter

Melody smiled as she saw Daniel help wipe away Janet's tears. She knew how much Janet had

suffered over the last few years. It felt good to see Jane finally have her own happiness.

"Silly girl, don't cry. Daniel will be sad if you keep on crying." Melody gently pinched her nose with her

wrinkled hand.

Janet nodded and stopped crying. After they chatted with Melody for a few more minutes, they left her

bedroom.

Janet came out of Melody's bedroom and went to knock on Samuel's bedroom door. Samuel opened

the door and said, "Jane, the kids are sleeping."

ten o'clock. © NôvelDrama.Org - All rights reserved.

"Okay. I'll carry them to my bedroom. You and mother can go to bed now."

"No, it's okay. You can leave them here with us. I went to your bedroom earlier, and both you and

Daniel weren't there. Were you chatting with your great-grandmother?" Samuel smilingly looked at

Janet and Daniel who stood by the door.

"Yes. Father, you and Mother can go rest. We will take the twins to our bedroom and sleep with them."

Janet walked up to the little bed and kissed her sleeping younger daughter.

Melissa was sleeping in the big bed. As Janet was about to carry her, Ella stopped her and said, "You

don't have a crib in your bedroom, and the kids are sleeping well here. Daniel, you and Jane can go to

bed now."

Daniel knew what Samuel and Ella meant. So he nodded, pulled Janet to him, and said, "Our

daughters are sleeping well. We'd better not disturb them. Okay?"

Janet looked at her cute daughters and reluctantly nodded.

Ella said, "Go on. We will only sleep with them for one night."

She also was fond of the twins!

And now, to take good care of them, she and Samuel hardly left the house anymore. They would rather

stay at home with the kids.

What's more, she also looked after Felix. She enjoyed taking care of her three grandchildren more than

anything else.

Daniel pulled Janet back to the bedroom and locked the door. After that, his tender, innocent look

switched to a charming, seductive one.

He then slightly pushed her against the door and drew on her smooth face with his index finger.

"Jane..."

"Hmm?" She had a bad feeling about this.

"Jane, why do you always tempt me..." He suddenly kissed her red lips and tightly held her in his arms.

He kissed her lips wildly that Janet's breath had been taken away.

After just a couple of minutes, Janet struggled. He held her so tight that she could hardly breathe.

When Daniel felt that she was protesting against him, he loosened his grip. And then he took her to the

big, pink bed and said, "Jane, I think I didn't work hard enough."

"What?"

Confused, Janet looked at Daniel. She then fixed her eyes on his left arm and began to think about

whether he had used his left arm to do anything tonight or not.

"Why aren't you pregnant?"

When his mother was pregnant with him and Sally, his father held a wedding ceremony. Now his and

Janet's wedding was just around the corner, but Janet still wasn't pregnant.

"... Daniel, what do you mean by that?" Janet noticed the odd expression in his eyes.

It wasn't that easy for her to get pregnant. She couldn't control it. She had followed his instructions and

didn't take any contraceptive pills...

"Nothing." He kissed her again and didn't give her any chance to speak again.

The next day came, and Janet was woke up by her phone alarm. In a daze, she turned off the sound.

Then, she moved in a little and snuggled within Daniel's warm arms. She was about to fall sleep again.

Suddenly, she remembered the plan that she made yesterday and immediately opened her eyes. She

gently loosened Daniel's arms away from her waist.

After that, she sat up on the bed. Daniel, who was beside her, was still deeply asleep.

After kissing Daniel on the forehead, Janet pulled the quilt away from herself and got out of bed.

She quickly washed up and went downstairs to the ground floor. Samuel was busy preparing breakfast

in the kitchen.

Janet quietly tiptoed toward the kitchen and was about to frighten Samuel. But before she could, she

heard someone say, "You got up early today. Did you wake up just because you were hungry?"

Janet leaned against the door and looked at her father who didn't turned his head around and had

guessed that she was there. She asked, "Dad, how could you possibly know that I'm here?"

"You're the only one who does this childish thing." 'Oh! Hold on. The twins are also capable of doing

such things!' thought Samuel.

Okay!

"Tell me. Why are you up so early?" It was a little past six o'clock right now. Janet always got up after

seven o'clock, at least.

Janet remembered her purpose of getting up so early and replied, "Father, can you teach me how to

cook breakfast?"

Samuel was so surprised to hear her that he almost dropped the plate from his hand. He immediately

waved at Janet and said, "Get out of here. I'll hire a chef and send him to your and Daniel's house.

What do you want? A Michelin starred chef? A chef who can cook Sichuan cuisine, Guangdong

cuisine, or Shandong cuisine? You can choose any chef you like!"

...

Janet was a little frustrated. She looked at the terrified expression on her father's face. "Father, I want

to learn how to boil eggs first."

If she didn't know how to do such thing, she would be more ashamed of herself.

Samuel looked at her, then at her tender hands, and said, "I don't want you scalding yourself.

Otherwise, I'd have to spend money treating your wounds."

"... Father! Are you really my biological father?" Janet pouted, opened the fridge door, and began to

look for the eggs.

"At this moment, I really want to say that I'm not your father." He and his wife were good at cooking, but

their daughter knew nothing about it. It confused him. He didn't know how they raised her to be like

this.

Janet put down two eggs near the sink and unhappily stomped her feet. "Father!"

"Ah! Look at you!" Before Samuel put down the kitchen knife, one of the eggs placed beside the sink

rolled and fell down to the ground.

The egg broke...

"Jane Shao, did I displease you yesterday?" Samuel found a mop to clean the dirty floor.

Janet shook her head and said, "No."

"Then why are you making a mess in my kitchen? Go back to sleep!" Samuel looked at Janet with

disappointment. He also suddenly felt pity for Daniel and wondered why he loved his stupid daughter.

Janet was disgruntled and said, "I didn't do it on purpose. I won't leave until I learn how to boil eggs!"

She believed that if she learned how to boil eggs, Daniel and her children wouldn't go hungry even if

they didn't have a cook in their house.

"Fine! I'll teach you. I won't let you leave until you get it right." Samuel still doubted whether his

daughter really knew nothing about cooking.

According to Samuel's instruction, Janet gently washed the eggs.

She then took out a pot, filled it with water, and gently placed the eggs in it.

After that, she put the pot on the kitchen stove and turned on the heat... Everything went smoothly.

Jerry went downstairs to fetch some toys for his son. When he accidentally saw Janet in the kitchen, he

asked, "Father, who's in the kitchen?"

"It's me! Your one and only, beautiful, and cute sister!" After she put the pot on the right place, Janet

literally jumped for joy. It wasn't difficult to boil eggs.

Jerry curled his lips and asked, "What are you doing in the kitchen?"

"I'm cooking breakfast!"

Jerry coughed violently, choking on his own saliva, and said, "Miss Shao, please don't cause our father

any trouble. You'd better go back to your bedroom and cuddle Daniel to sleep."
