A Vengeful Girl

Chapter 410 One Has to Pay the Price of Hurting the Love of Charles!

Chapter 410 One Has to Pay the Price of Hurting the Love of Charles!

"Is that so? It is me who had an eye on him, not the other way around."

Ada, alone by herself, knew clearly that she was trapped in a disadvantageous position, And her

negligence was all to blame for it.

All of a sudden, the one standing behind Linda began to talk, "Let go of us, or else I'll shoot her."

Linda was clear that the current situation was far from being rosy. Two guns were pointed at her and

Anna both on the head. Although Bun had pointed at Ada with a gun, she wouldn't dare risk Anna and

Linda's life and pull the trigger. It was a bad bargain to trade two lives with that of Ada's.

At that moment, someone knocked violently on the door of the dressing room. It was obvious that

Charles had realized by the gunshot that something was wrong inside the room.

"You'd better let go of us quickly." The companion of Ada's was feeling anxious.

Ada's face was pale with pain, and sweat was running down from her cheeks. Judging from the

circumstance, her leg was probably busted. She looked up at Linda and told her, "I've made a mistake

due to my carelessness. Please let us get out of here. I will trade my life with yours and hers. It's a

good bargain. What do you say?"

Linda thought for a while and then nodded her head in agreement. She said, "Okay."

She had no other choice.

Linda knew that life mattered the most. It wouldn't change anything even if she had caught Ada by Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!

force.

What if Ada's two underlings were to make desperate moves such as killing Linda and Anna once

Charles would hold Ada captive? Anything could be possible only when one was alive.

Linda was a smart person when it came to deciding things like those.

Within three seconds, Charles, Paul, and Brian broke the door and rushed into the room from the

outside.

"Linda."

"Bun, My Lady!"

"Bonny!"

Terrible things had indeed happened inside the dressing room.

Noticing that Linda was threatened by a gun, Charles was consumed by wrath. His handsome face

darkened, and his pupils dilated, clearly on the verge of explosion.

"You've got a lot of nerves to hurt my wife."

Ada gave a faint smile and said, "Young Master Mu, your wife is perfectly fine. I didn't do anything to

her. I won't stay here for the wedding feast. I wish you a happy marriage. We'll get lost now, okay? "

"Hah..." Charles only gave a snort in response.

He had no other choice but to accept her offer because Linda was still controlled by them with a gun.

He would do anything as long as Linda could survive today's unexpected incident.

Judging from the scene, Charles could paint a vague picture of what had happened inside the room.

Linda must have outsmarted them. Otherwise, she wouldn't have been able to get this advantage of

making a deal with Ada, and she would have probably already been taken away.

The several assistant dressers were Ada's minions. The moment Charles had given his word, the

underlings of Ada all wanted to rush over to help her up, but Bun wouldn't let things develop the way

they had wished. If she would let go of Ada, they could once again have control of the whole situation,

especially since Linda and Anna were still in their hands. Therefore, Bun also had to hold onto Ada!

"Go away!" Bun shouted at them and firmly adjusted the gun at Ada's head.

The two people who held Linda and Anna marched toward the doorway, while Bun kept the gun

pointed at Ada's head and moved accordingly.

When they reached the doorway, where Ada's car was parked, neither side refused to release the

people they held hostages.

"Release Ada first, " The two behind Linda shouted.

"You must release Linda and Anna first!" Brian yelled back in an imposing manner.

What if the other side were to break their promise once they released Ada? If that were to happen, they

could do nothing to stop them from taking Linda and Anna away by then! Linda and Anna were still

under their control.

"No way. You must release Ada first."

It was a dead-end on both parties.

But, contrary to everyone's expectation, Bun took the initiative by giving a gentle push to the back of

Ada. Then, both of Ada's underlings rushed forward and held her by the arm. Her leg was still bleeding.

Bun, once again, positioned her gun and targeted at Ada, and then she shouted at them with a grim

face, "Release them."

But now, the two people behind Linda hesitated. They didn't release Linda and Anna. Now that Ada

had been released, the other side posed no threat to them other than the gun which was pointed at

Ada. But if they could get in the car immediately, they could run away with the kidnapped Linda.

Bonny had hit the bull's eye of a ten-point ring with ten bullets from a pistol during her training at the

women's special troops. No one would dare challenge her skills at shooting, for she could kill a person

with a single shot.

While they were at the point of indecision, Charles told them in a cold voice, "Let go of them." Ada gave

her consent by waving her hand.

Dripping with cold sweat at the moment, she could no longer sustain herself.

By now, the ten million had already been transferred to her account. Besides, if it hadn't been for her

employer who had said that he would send over a woman who looked identical to Linda, they could

have taken Linda away and handed her to the employer, so they were not to blame for this outcome.

Feeling a push on their backs, Linda and Anna were released.

Charles strode over in a flash and held Linda into his arms. Linda was then surrounded by his warm

hug.

A moment earlier, he had felt the risk of losing the love of his life again.

"Honey, are you all right? Did they hurt you?"

"No, I'm fine." Linda shook her head and gave him a smile.

"That's good to hear."

Paul walked over and pulled Anna back.

"Bun!" Charles yelled at her with a serious face.

Bun squinted one of her eyes.

Bang! Bang!

Two loud bangs wafted through the air. With that, Bun had fired two bullets.

Two sonorous cries burst out from the other side. The two bullets had knocked down the guns in the

hands of Ada's underlings. Bun was truly a sharpshooter. She didn't want to kill them. The bullets were

shot into their wrists.

They could no longer hold a gun to fight against them.

"You have broken your promise!" The underlings of Ada said angrily.

"Promise? Why do I have to keep my promise? Take them away!" Charles gave his order.

Ada shook her head in despair. She should have seen this coming. She had to pay the price of hurting

the love of Charles's life. She was being too greedy.
