A Night's Mistake: The Besotted CEO's Obsession

Chapter 8

Chapter 8

Liam’s kisses were fierce and urgent–wild and animalistic, a stark contrast to his cool distance during the day. After years of restraint, thirty–year- old Liam could no longer hold back his desire once he indulged.

It wasn’t as if there hadn’t been women throwing themselves at him over the years, but the fake smiles and the heavy scent of makeup made him feel sick

Moments later, Liam released Cynthia from his embrace, his eyes filled with desire as he gazed at the girl in his arms. Suddenly, he bent down, scooped her up, and carried her towards the couch.

Cynthia’s legs gave out from the intensity of their embrace, her cheeks a rosy blush, her eyes rippling like water–only able to cling passively around Liam’s neck. Then she felt herself gently placed on the couch before Liam’s athletic frame descended upon her. Her body trembled at his touch with a tingling sensation that she couldn’t describe.

It was the first night after they got the marriage license, and both of them lost in each other’s embrace, Cynthia realized she was also growing fond of this feeling. It wasn’t until the early hours of the morning that Liam finally let go of Cynthia who had since succumbed to sleep. He gently carried her from the couch to the bathroom. After quickly cleaning her up, he held her close and they slipped into slumber.

Having experienced such intimacy for two consecutive nights, even the fittest body would falter. Cynthia slept well into the late morning before waking. By that time. Liam had already left

Lying in bed, Cynthia found herself without the energy to even turn over. Her body lost control, and her stomach growled–she hadn’t eaten anything since the previous night and had been quite active

in keeping up with Liam’s demands. Now, she was famished and had to muster the strength to look for food.

Just as she stepped onto the floor, a soreness spread through her causing her to sharply inhale and nearly fall over. She couldn’t help but curse Liam in her heart fiercely.

Barely holding herself upright, she shuffled downstairs using the walls and banisters for support

What yesterday had been an empty villa stood a group of people now. As she descended, they greeted her with a bow, “Good morning, Mrs. Sullivan. Text © owned by NôvelDrama.Org.

Startled, Cynthia hid her discomfort and stood up straight with an awkward smile. “When did you all get here?”

The man at the front, a gentleman in his forties, stepped forward and said, “We’re from the Sullivan residence. Mr. Liam Sullivan arranged for us to

come over at seven

“I’m Darian Hunter, the butler here, he introduced himself before pointing to the woman close in age to him. “And this is my wife, Winnie. She’s in charge of the meals here, while the rest handle cleaning and maintaining the gardens. We’ll be stationed here for the long term. Mrs. Sullivan, Please feel free to ask for anything

Right now, Cynthia’s only concern was finding something to eat, so she nodded to acknowledge them before asking, “Is there any food?”

“Yes, of course! Mr. Sullivan instructed us to have meals ready for you, knowing you’d be hungry when you woke up, Winnie hurried to the kitchen while the others went about their tasks.

Sitting at the table, Cynthia sipped her soup and thought to herself. Liam actually had a thoughtful side. Despite his high–profile status, he still attended to the little things. Especially this morning, when she woke up without feeling sticky, and certain areas were cool and medicated–he must have bathed her and applied a soothing ointment.
