Chapter 410 Always Have Time for You
Alexa stole a glance at Terrence. He was reading the documents with a straight face, and there was
nothing unusual about his expression.
She did not disturb Terrence but secretly sent a message to Thalia.
“Where is Dr. McMillan going on business?”
After a long time, Thalia replied.
“A meeting for medical scientists or something. I’m not sure. I pestered him to take me with him.”
Thalia felt happy. She stared at the screen and giggled. Then Finley noticed it.
“What are you giggling about?”
“Nothing. I was just peeking at you,” Thalia said frankly.
Finley was clearly struck dumb by her forthrightness.
“Be serious.”
“I am serious,” Thalia said sweetly. “Go on with your work. I’ll just look at you.”
“I can’t focus when you look at me.”
Finley said gently, his ears red.
“Why, Dr. McMillan?” Thalia moved closer. “Are you nervous?”
Her red lips were just inches away from him. Just as Finley thought that Thalia would kiss him, she
reached his waist and pinched him.
“Do you know how charming you are?” Thalia stared at him. “You’re especially charming when you are
absorbed in work. It makes me like you more.”
“If you don’t stop, I won’t be able to finish the report,” Finley said seriously. “I have to hand it in later.”
“Alright. Then give me a kiss, and I will leave you alone.”
Thalia was very good at flirting. Although Finley was a reserved person, he didn’t know what to do with
her.
“Right here?”
“Is it not okay for you?”
Thalia boldly grabbed his collar and willfully moved closer to him.
Finley had no choice but to compromise and kiss her on the forehead.
Thalia smiled with satisfaction. Then she took her phone and posted something online.
When Alexa used her phone, she saw the post.
She smiled and liked it at once.
“What are you looking at? Why are you so happy?”
Hearing Terrence’s voice, Alexa realized that he had been looking at her.
“Nothing,” Alexa casually said. “Just browsing the timeline.”
As soon as she finished speaking, Terrence interlocked his fingers with hers and took a photo.
“You…”
“I suddenly want to show everyone how much we are in love, can’t I?”
Terrence posted the picture and did not forget to mention Alexa.
In less than half a minute, Alexa got a lot of notifications for private messages.
“Everyone is asking me about it,” she said a little embarrassedly. “We’ve been married for a long time.
We don’t need this.”
“If your eyes are tired, get off your phone.” Terrence put down his work. “Let’s chat, then you won’t feel
bored during the flight.”
Alexa looked at the clouds outside the window and asked curiously.
“Where are we going these days?”
“I have already arranged everything. Don’t worry,’ Terrence said unhurriedly. “I won’t let my work take
up too much of my time. This time, I will make sure you have a good time.”
“It doesn’t matter.”
“There is a business party tonight that I need to attend,” Terrence said with a smile. “Wait for me at
home. I will be back soon, okay?”
“Who organized the party?”
“A local rich businessman,” he patiently explained. “He is also a partner of Hudson Group.”
“Well, then I will wait for you at home.”
Alexa was not interested in those parties. Terrence was worried that she would be tired, so he would
not force her to attend.
After the plane landed, Terrence sent Alexa to the villa.
“We can see the sea here.” Terrence put a shawl on her. “Take some rest. I’ll arrange dinner.”
“You can go to work now.” Alexa kissed him on the collar. “I’ll wait for you to come back.”
“Okay.” Nôvel/Dr(a)ma.Org - Content owner.
Terrence was indeed very busy at work. He only spent ten minutes in the villa before Edwin took him
away.
Alexa slept for a while. And when she woke up, it was already dusk.
She was just in time for the sunset. She took a photo of it and sent it to Terrence.
Terrence immediately called her.
“You’ve woken up?”
“Yes. I was a little tired, but I feel much better now. Are you going to the party now?” Alexa asked lazily.
“I’m on the way. I’ve specially put on the tie you gave me today.”
After the intimate moments with Terrence, Alexa felt kind of lonely right now. But she didn’t want to
worry Terrence, so she did not say much.
However, after the call, there was a burst of noise downstairs.
“Mrs. Ramsey, Mrs. McMillan is here.”
As soon as the servant finished speaking, Thalia entered the living room.
“Why are you here? Shouldn’t you be with Dr. McMillan right now?” Alexa asked in surprise.
“Of course, it’s because of something more important.”
Thalia said meaningfully and put some exquisite macarons down on the coffee table.
“Terrence has specially called me to come,” Thalia smiled. “He was afraid that you would be bored, so
he asked me to keep you company.”
“I am not that difficult.”
Although Alexa said so, she was very happy.
“But Terrence is worried about you,” Thalia teased. “I left Finley and hurried here. And Terrence paid
some famous chefs to make these macarons.”
“Thank you.” Alexa dared not be the reason that kept Thalia apart from Finley. “Hurry and go back. I’m
fine alone.”
“You’re not alone right now.” Thalia smiled as she looked at Alexa’s belly. “Isn’t there a little girl?”
“We don’t know the gender yet.”
“You have a happy family. I really envy you.”
“You and Dr. McMillan can also have all this if you try,” Alexa encouraged. “He is very good at taking
care of children. Damarion likes him very much.”
“Maybe it’s because he isn’t with kids all the time,” Thalia teased. “If there is a really difficult kid, he will
have a headache.”
Although she said so, Thalia looked forward to it even more.
She sat with Alexa for a while before Finley called.
“It seems that someone is worried about you,” Alexa teased. “Hurry up and go back.”
She wanted to ask a driver to send Thalia back, but she didn’t expect that Finley would directly come in
his car.
“Didn’t you say that you were having dinner with some old members of the industry?” Thalia sat down
in the passenger seat. “You didn’t drink?”
“I have to pick you up. So I didn’t drink alcohol,” Finley answered truthfully.
“It wasn’t easy for them to meet you once. How could they bear to let you leave so early?”
“I have to go home to see my fiancée.” He chuckled. “Is this reason enough?”
“Enough for me.”
“Good then.”
When Finley drove, Thalia had been looking out the window at the street.
“Do you want to go shopping?” Finley said. “I didn’t spend much time with you today.”
“No need. You’ve had a long day.” Thalia withdrew her gaze. “Let’s go home and rest early.”
Though she said so, Finley pulled up by the roadside.
“In front of me, you never have to make compromises,” he said gently. “You only need to make yourself
happy. You don’t have to care too much.”
“But I care about you.”
“I always have time for you.”
