Sold To The Mafia Lord

Aditi’s Ash

“They’ve just left the house! Finally…” Mrs Gale said over the phone, she was in her room as she held her phone close to her ear.

“Okay then, you’ve done well Gale!” A man’s voice came from the other side and she hummed before ending the call.

The man at the other end Turn to Knight Cyrus who was sitting in a chair close to a shelf.

The man was standing nearby with some other people.

“Gale Just informed me that Alexander had left the house, probably heading to the drake Passage!” The man said, he was wearing a Suit That had a HM on the chest area. This text is property of Nô/velD/rama.Org.

“She’s really a genius!” Knight said as he placed his lit cigarette on the cigarette tray close by.

He sipped from his wine Leisurely.

Grey Was sitting close to Knight as his right hand man “Sir Cyrus, everything is set and them heading to the drake passage is already a good, tsk tsk if only they knew what await them!” Grey smirked, finally he would be taking revenge on Alexander who had made him lose alot of brothers during the time their gang was uprooted from Europe.

Knight suddenly laughed coldly in the group and the other men there shivered “Fools… Alexander is heading to The drake passage?? Nonsense….. he won’t be so stupid to Go over there because he definitely knows that it’s a trap, that sly guy has something else up his sleeves!” Knight suddenly said and Grey frowned.

“Does that mean he knows our plans and he isn’t going to the drake passage as planned!” Grey asked as he couldn’t comprehend it.

“Just stay put, he is not so dumb Grey… that is what I’ve come to learn all these years!” Knight said calmly but a flash of discomfort flashed between his eyes.

Alexander was just too hard to comprehend.

After the Indian rites for Burial were done, Aditi’s corpse was cremated and her ash were put in a small Go box.

Ghost was just few steps away from Amelia who was standing close to the built structure where Aditi’s body was burnt.

Amelia tried hard to hold in her tears as memories kept flashing into her mind.

“Amelia you shouldn’t be this head strong you know….. let’s just be happy and make merry hurrah!!!!” Aditi would say as her smile would be so wide.

“Sir superior you don’t talk to my Amy in that tone, talk to me and not her!!!” Whenever Aditi tried to stand up for Amelia, she get more punishments.

After acting all tough, she would cry really hard after receiving punishment.

Amelia felt she didn’t do enough for Aditi, who was so fragile looking with pale skin, brown eyes and Dark ink hair.

“I’m sorry Aditi…” Amelia’s body was trembling as she suppressed her tears.

Her eyes roamed around and landed in the bodies of the superiors in the military camp.

She would have Gone after that bastard superior that had made Aditi suffer but she heard he was Stripped from his position when he was discovered by the government at that time about how he misused his position and manhandles the females there.

Due to the embarrassment and feeling depressed, he committed suicide.

“May his soul rest in pieces…” Amelia gritted as she used her handkerchief to clean her snot.

Amelia’s eyes trailed the place as the Indian priest came to remove her ash.

Ghost’s eyes were everywhere as he inspected the place and made Sure nothing goes wrong.

Other Silent Guards That came along to protect Amelia were also Hidden along the place.

It was all going well, and soon Mr Aarush Yash came to inform them that They were heading to the Columbarium to store Aditi’s Ash.

Amelia went along with them so she could put her candles there and pray before leaving.

Ghost also followed closely behind and they all entered the Columbarium not too far from the field that they burnt Aditi’s body as she was Hindu.

The columbarium was a big building with three floors, the second floor is where the Ash would be stored so alot of Indians that came along with Aaursh Yash and the priest came in, the superiors at the military didn’t come along as they felt they had did the needful and they all left.

Amelia walked in too, just then she bumped into a person.

“Who-” Amelia swallowed hard As she looked at who she had bumped into.

“Ah we meet again, good day Mrs Ron or rather Amelia” Travis showed a cheeky smile but when he saw her face that was all swelled due to crying, he knew that she had come for a love one.

“Did your relative die??”

“No, a- My best friend!” Amelia’s eyes contain all sort of emotions as if she would tear up not long, But she wasn’t gonna cry in presence of Another man except Alexander who would pet her.

At the thought of Alexander again, Amelia frowned as she thought she should quickly Go to the Room where they were going to keep Aditi’s Ash so she could quickly run into a church and pray for the safety of her husband even though she had being muttering little prayers in her mind since, she felt she needed to go meet the God people claimed exist.

Amelia doesn’t believe in God but because of Alexander, she was willing to Come to his feet and beg for his protection.

“Oh, I came to drop some tulips in my mother’s Grave, my mom is Indian and my dad European so before she died, she said to have her corpse burnt because she wanted to be reincarnated as she claimed!” Travis let out a ridiculous laugh As he shook his head self mockingly, back then he had urge his father to go ahead with it when he was still young, he thought his mother would truly be reincarnated and then he would get to see his mother again.

But when he got to High school and then college, he found out such things only happen in myth and fantasy stories.

It was a folktale and a superstitious belief. There was nothing like Reincarnation.

“Same with my friend, sorry about your mom though!” Amelia said and Ghost eyes didn’t leave Travis for even a minute.

“Nah, it’s being long already, which floor are you going to??” Travis asked.

“The second floor, that’s where my friend’s ash would be kept!” Amelia said.

“Okay, when you guys are done, I’ll come meet you there, I have something to talk to you about and it’s about Mr Ron!” Travis said calmly.

Amelia frowned “and what about it??”

“Don’t worry, it’s nothing bad, just go first!” Travis said with a smile and walked out.

Amelia stood there abit before sighing and walked upstairs to the second floor.
