Chapter 344: Tansney College Wins Championship
Lorenzo sat lazily on the leather sofa, the empty wine bottles in front of him had been quite spectacular, and the crystal ashtrays were piled high with cigarette butts.
He heard that Jessica broke into the Fletcher residence alone and knew that the private club was razed to the ground. He didn’t say anything and continued to pour his wine, the light from the crystal lamp reflecting his handsome face even more handsome.
“What’s the deal? Too much to drink, huh?”
Felix was not at all polite and came up and gave Lorenzo a kick.
“I’m fine, you drink, go away.”
Lorenzo swallows the rest of the whiskey in the bottle, grabs his suit jacket and gets up to leave.
What the hell to drink for sorrow.
He actually got more and more sober the more he drank.
…
An oversized assessment site.
The days flew by and it was the day of Jessica’s bet with Beatrice.
All students are looking forward to the day, they are well prepared and can’t wait to show their learning.
“Everyone relax, think of it as a weekday connection, since we have made adequate preparations, nothing is to be feared.”
Jessica guffawed and gave everyone a pep talk.
“Yes! Let’s work together!”
The class spoke with one voice.
“Yo, aren’t these the students from Tansney College? Catching up temporarily? It’s meaningless to learn to pull the crotch on weekdays, even if you are begging God, without a solid foundation, you are also blindly delaying your efforts.”
Beatrice led the students of Eustace College and walked into the examination site, and she spoke mockingly.
“It’s really not easy without solid basic skills, but it’s never too late for us to learn by heart, and we’ll see the real thing on the test paper.”
Jessica is not annoyed and looks blandly at Beatrice.
“Let’s hope you don’t lose so badly that you’ll be crying in the sky!”
Beatrice, who disdains talking to Jessica the most, grunts coldly.
“Don’t say anything too full, lest Eustace College get slapped in the face and it hurts too much.”
Jessica and Beatrice’s eyes met and sparks erupted.Ccontent © exclusive by Nô/vel(D)ra/ma.Org.
Like a war without smoke and mirrors.
“It’s time to start the exam, so we’ll give you the last five minutes, so if you haven’t found your seats yet, sit in your seats quickly!”
As the bell rings, the examiner enters the class.
“Let’s go.”
Beatrice opened her mouth and everyone sat down in their seats.
Two hours later, the exam was over.
All the students who took the exam were almost exhausted to the point of deficiency, and everyone lay down on their desks for a short rest.
Correction of test papers, tallying of scores, selection and evaluation, and issuance of lists.
This toss and turn took a full week and a half.
The final results are sent from above to the principals of the schools.
When the faculty meeting was held, the presidents of all the institutions were present.
“Mr. Gray, I heard that Jessica has openly challenged Beatrice, can she do it? Don’t snap your face when the time comes, it’s too humiliating.”
“No, I’ve heard rumors that the students at Tansney College are crazy and they want to get into Graduate School, isn’t that an international joke?”
“Hey, I say Principal Gray, I’ve got to get you guys to recognize some reality, I’m really not knocking you Tansney College, yes, the sports carnival game, you won, but exams and sports are really different things.”
The crowd of fellow principals, you glance, I say, mostly to see the joke of Tansney College.
“I’ve always believed in the results of the kids’ hard work, their heart and soul, their dedication, and even I can’t help but be moved.”
“What the children say, how I believe, why is it that I hit my face?”
“If I lose, I can afford to punch you all in the face, and if I win, all of you will be on the house.”
Tansney College’s Principal Gray spoke up, and he wasn’t even angry that the crowd said that, he had expected it.
“Come on, you said it yourself.”
“That’s right, we’re not forcing you.”
“Hey, look how we forgot about Principal Wallace of Eustace College, Mr. Wallace, why don’t you take a bet too?”
Some people followed suit.
“What is there to be afraid of, Tansney College is so crotch pulling, I can still lose?”
Principal Wallace, of Eustace College, looks full of unremitting eyes at Principal Gray.
He grunted coldly.
“All right, the results have been announced, do not play lip service, hurry up and look at the results ah.”
“That is, it’s not too late to read the results first and then fight the war of words.”
Another person spoke up and urged.
The principals stood in two rows, unpacked the sealed file bags in their respective hands, and placed the results on the long horizontal table in the middle.
The result is without a doubt, Eustace College wins!
“Congratulations to Principal Wallace for winning the title every year!”
“Congratulations! Congratulations!”
“This is the kind of thing that there is simply no doubt about.”
The crowd opened their mouths to say goodbye.
“I say Mr. Gray, look how that turned out, huh?”
Principal Wallace of Eustace College, very dejected.
“Congratulations, what’s there to hide from?”
“But as high as your scores are, that may not be the first place.”
“Why don’t we let everyone report their scores and see who takes the top spot in the end.”
Tansney College’s Principal Gray spoke up, and he wasn’t annoyed at all.
To be fair, they deliberately chose an unrelated janitor to testify.
Tansney College is not fifth, not fourth, not third, and not second …
The hearts of the people hang high.
Which college is number one?
“Mr. Gray, first place is definitely not Tansney College, even if you’re nervous to the point of going crazy, it’s still for nothing.”
Principal Wallace spoke mockingly.
“This staff member, please hurry up and tell the crowd which college is in first place, right?”
Someone prodded.
“It’s Tansney College!”
The janitor compared and held one of the report cards up to show everyone in the room as he slowly spoke up and announced the final answer.
The originally chaotic scene was suddenly silent, and the crowd looked at the report card held high in the janitor’s hand with an incredulous look.
How could Tansney College win the championship?
That’s incredible?
What the hell is going on?
The crowd drew a cold breath.
Principal Wallace of Eustace College nearly suffered a brain haemorrhage.
“Yes … is our Tansney College! That’s right! I knew the kids were the best!”
“I told you Jessica was a blessing to our college!”
“Although the children are usually decadent, they have never let me down when it matters!”
“We fight together against all odds and are fearless!”
Tansney College’s principal finally sighed with relief at his words as he reeled back from the shock and spoke impassionedly.
