Chapter 92 Keep biting
Chapter 92 Keep biting
Jessica frowned and endured the pain silently.
Lorenzo calmed down gradually and became sober. When the disease recurred, he was like a trapped
animal struggling to climb out of the swamp helplessly. When he became sober, he rushed away from
Jessica.
"Not well again? Don't worry and take it easy. I will take good care of you..." Jessica spoke very softly.
"Stay back!" Lorenzo interrupted Jessica and gestured for her to stay away from him. "Go get some
sleep. You’ve gotten a rough day today." He turned around and left.
Lorenzo was a very proud man. He didn’t allow his vulnerability to be shown to others, not even his
closest family members. He bore everything silently and went through the ordeal alone slowly.
Instead of getting better at it, he would make it worse so she could not stand by.
"Lorenzo, you have to try to trust me. It won't work for you to suffer alone. I can at least help you feel
better, okay?" Jessica didn't hesitate. She walked to the door of the bathroom and knocked hard on the
glass door.
Lorenzo turned on the cold water to the extreme, gasping for breath and clenching his hands under the
shower head as if the smell of blood in the air had made him feel worse than ever. He didn’t have to
look in the mirror to know how messed up he was.
In Lorenzo's mind, there were many people in front of him, calling him sick, crazy, insane... In a
trance, Lorenzo seemed to notice that someone was shouting his name as hard as she could but he
didn't respond. That person just wouldn't give up.
Gradually, the images Lorenzo had in his mind-the swaying crowds, disappeared. What he could hear
was just his name.
"Lorenzo... Are you all right? Lorenzo, say something. You really don't..." Jessica kept banging on the
glass door it looked that she would keep going if Lorenzo didn’t open it. This content © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.
Lorenzo stepped to the door and opened it.
Jessica was surprised by his sudden movement so she froze for a few seconds. Then she observed his
reaction carefully. He was not well as if he had become a stranger.
The way Lorenzo looked at her now was, to say the least, atrocious, like a beast breaking free from its
cage and waiting for its chance.
"Lorenzo, you..." Jessica looked at him.
"Go away." Lorenzo stared at Jessica, with his voice clearly subdued.
"Not by any means." Jessica wouldn’t leave this time.
Breathing faster and faster, Lorenzo grabbed Jessica suddenly, dragged her back to the master
bedroom and threw her to the bed.
Before she reacted, Lorenzo had tied her hands tightly with a tie to the carved bed post so that she
could not move.
"Lorenzo, come back! Don't! Let go!" Jessica was terrified and cried out.
It seemed that he hadn't hear her. He bowed his head and put his thin lips on her white neck and took a
hard bite suddenly.
"Ouch..." Jessica gasped and sweat broke out on her forehead. She tried desperately to free herself
but the tie was too tight. Jessica felt cool suddenly only to find that her clothes had been torn by
Lorenzo with the buttons falling to the ground. Whenever Jessica struggled, Lorenzo would torture her
even harder.
It took Lorenzo quite a while to raise his face and looked at Jessica with his repressed eyes. She was
fair as hell with thin sweat on her forehead, a few strands of black hair on her cheeks and her hair
cascading over the dark purple silk sheets.
It was a striking and thrilling beauty to him! Lorenzo's thin lips were bothering Jessica. She knew that
Lorenzo didn't mean to hurt her. In order to alleviate Lorenzo's brutal reaction, she has to be gentle.
"Lorenzo, just relax and try to listen to me. My wrist is gonna break, it hurts... Please try to trust me and
let me go. I promise you that I won't leave you."
Jessica's voice was soft, like clear spring which moistened Lorenzo's heart gradually. After a while,
Lorenzo reacted. He hesitated for a while and untied the tie finally.
Jessica seemed to stay still while she slid her wrist toward the bedside table.
"Sneaking around, right?" Lorenzo grasped Jessica's restless hand quickly and said in a low and
hoarse voice.
"Baby, you can relax. I didn't mean to hurt you..."
"You're never softer than when you're ready for sneaking around. What do you want this time, little
thing?"
Jessica looked at Lorenzo with tenderness. Her voice was very soft with her other hand gently landing
on his head. She lowered her head to calm his mania patiently and paid attention to his reaction
carefully.
Just as he turned his head slightly, Jessica put a special silver needle into his body firmly and
ruthlessly.
"You..." Lorenzo had barely spoken a word when he fell flat on his stomach.
Jessica lifted her hand to turn the needle and then helped him to lie on his side gently. After a while,
she took out the needle, lifted her hand to put it on Lorenzo's head gently to massage and relax him.
When Jessica saw Lorenzo's frown was at a stretch slowly she calmed down and then stood up with
pain. Now she was half naked with the surrounding strewn with fragments of clothing. She opened the
nightstand, took out the mirror and looked at herself.
Her fair skin was covered with bruises which surprised Jessica a lot. Her lips, neck and shoulders were
sore; her forehead sweating; her face pale; the marks of teeth too obvious.
Jessica shouldn’t go out with such a horrible image or others would call the police for her.
She worried about Lorenzo although she was afraid of his abnormal behaviors. She could not bear to
ignore it so she put the mirror away and lay down beside him again.
She couldn’t sleep. Lorenzo's disease was urgent. He's much worse than at the beginning when he
was still sane but now he's almost completely insane.
In a complicated mood, she looked at Lorenzo who was sleeping. Her hand was numb because of lying
in the same position for a long time. However, she didn’t dare move for fear that Lorenzo would be
waken up.
If he lost control of his temper and started messing up, it would definitely alarm everyone and made
grandma worried, which would make him be caught out.
Lorenzo turned around naturally and raised his hand to hold Jessica in his arms unconsciously. She
listened to Lorenzo's strong heartbreak and was relieved to feel that his breathing calm down gradually.
Lorenzo, who had completely returned to normal, looked like a child.
The the sky turned white. Jessica was so sleepy that she fell asleep.
When Jessica woke up, it was about 6 o'clock. Luckily, Lorenzo was still asleep. He was sleeping all
night. Jessica tucked Lorenzo's thin blanket and got up quietly. Jessica washed up quickly and put on a
conservative dress, with a pearl necklace to cover the wound properly.
She didn't want to disturb others so she walked out of the door with her shoes in her hand and then put
them on when she was out.
Jessica endured the pain and left the The Private Estate quickly. She rarely wore jewelry. Her wounds
were obvious without the necklace while she came to front with a it on so it was the wisest thing for her
to leave now.
Jessica went to Capttar Medical School as fast as she could and walked quickly to the pharmacy
without losing any time.
She could have gone to Amara. After all, they are best friends but it's Lorenzo's privacy and she can't
tell anyone about it.
