Chapter 920
The mention of Youngie's name made Vincent's eyes go dim. A vicious look flashed past his eyes.
He grabbed her face and spat out through gritted teeth, "Don't talk about her!"
He used so much force it felt as though he could crush her face to pieces.
Youngie seemed very important to him indeed, Rosalie thought.
Vincent suddenly released her face, clutched his chest, and took a few steps back.
Rosalie reached out to hold him, but at the thought of what he just did to her, she retracted her hands, still feeling slightly miffed.
"We're not done with lunch yet," Vincent said as he stumbled to the dining hall.
Rosalie exhaled out loud, almost losing her balance.
After a long time, she finally managed to compose herself and crouched down to pick up the things on the floor and stuff them back into her bag. She glanced at Vincent and saw him walking to the dining hall. She walked cautiously to the door, intending to open the door and leave.
But the moment she tried to push the handle down, she realized it didn't budge one bit.
"Don't waste your energy," Vincent said coldly. "You can't open it without my fingerprint."
Rosalie sighed helplessly.
She didn't expect she would need his fingerprint to leave this place.
She put her bag down and sat down in the dining hall.
"Ten thousand dollars and one week. If it's just taking care of you and cooking for you, I can agree to that."
She had no other choice right now. She didn't have ten billion dollars and she couldn't possibly go to Sebastian and borrow so much money from him. She couldn't afford to return the money to him anyway. She didn't want to die, so she was left with this final option.
Vincent finished up lunch and went straight back to his room in silence.
Rosalie cleared up the dishes and called Sebastian.
"Seb, I'm sorry. I want to stay outside and be alone for a few days."
"What's wrong, Rose?"
"Nothing. I just need to cool down. I'll be back in about one week."
He fell silent for a long time.
"Rose, do you not want to come back anymore?"Text content © NôvelDrama.Org.

"No." Rose anxiously explained, for fear that he would misunderstand "Seb, trust me. I'll definitely come back I'll come back in a week"
"Okay, I'll trust you." Sebastian's voice sounded overly gentle. "I'll always trust you."
Rosalie panicked for a split second at how calm Sebastian's voice sounded.
She would rather Sebastian flared up at her. She had disappointed him time and time again, after all.
Yet, he was always so willing to trust her.
Rosalie felt very guilty.
She really shouldn't have run out like that. She should have just stayed at home instead of heading out to look for Theodore. Not only did she get into trouble, but she even put her own life in danger and was now trapped here.
She wondered if she could even leave a week later.
After hanging up, Rosalie sighed.
She suddenly heard a loud thud from inside the room.
Rosalie hurried over and found Vincent on the floor.
She approached him and unwrapped the bandages on his body, only to find his wounds worsening.
"You need to go to the hospital to have your wounds treated."
"There is a first-aid kit in the cab with whatever you need inside. Help me."
"I'm not a doctor, I don't know how to." She had never done something like this before.
"I'll teach you."
"But..."
"No buts," Vincent said, cutting her off. His face was turning pale fast.
Rosalie retrieved the first-aid kit and returned to his side.
She helped Vincent back on the bed and opened the first-aid kit. "What do I do first?"
Sweat beaded on Vincent's brow and his hands clutched the wound on the right side of his chest. Blood
oozed out from between his fingers, making for a terrifying scene.
